Rode a iron head Sporty out there in 1979 during the so called gas shortage. Camped in the municipal park. Had a blast. Plans are to head out there next year riding a 2011 Ultra. I'd take the shovel but my body wouldn't make the trip. Forty eight year old shovel might??? Hope you're able to make it out there again Jim.

Thanks Jim, some states have signs that read “No overnight camping” , These states did not. States that do you have those signs you have to look up and see what they define as camping. 🤣 Even so we usually spend about 4-5hours before rolling out.

Rabbi, I aim them so I can see the sides of the trailer, which with the dually isn’t that much wider. Just make sure you can see down the sides of the trailer for lane changes etc… Enjoy the RV!

I still keep it around 65 with the 5th wheel attached Jonathan. The speed limit is 80 on some interstates out there.

That was a rest area, not a truck stop, those lanes were extremely small, others we have stayed in ate much wider. 👍

We’ve love the F350. Pulling the rig with bikes we average 8.7 miles per gallon, without the extra weight we can get 9 mpg.

Am sure as the day is long that those truckers did that parking on purpose because they do not like rv's in their parking spots for the night. Might need a quick disconnect on the stairs to lay down an A frame ladder on the way back....:). Did not think the States allowed RVers to park at rest stops. Takes away from parking for the truckers. Too bad you could not drive as fast as the video was when you were driving in the RV park....LOL
