Driving through in any vehicle. That is a true statement. I drove a 26' loaded U-Haul pulling an autotransport trailer behind it. I was following my parents in their class A motorhome in mid April. Even in that rig it was a wonderful drive and a stunning landscape to see. We were able to stop and a couple of the overlooks to get some up-close views. it was a very memorable trip to say the least. The trip started in Grandview, WA and ended in Red Bay, AL

We got to visit and experience the badlands in 2020 during our Sturgis trip! You are right about the term it ain't called the Badlands for nothing! The day we went was a little over a hundred degrees and down in those valleys it seemed like it was about 150. We came back out and hit i-90 and took that stretch back into Sturgis with about a 50 to 60 mile per hour wind. Still will not forget that place. Just like something out of a strange sci-fi magazine.
