I was in a car accident and trapped in our Canadian winter, -17 degrees for 4 hours. I fell unconscious before they could get to me. But I survived! I can totally relate to Wanda and the pain the cold brings.

I think Pablo needs a little guard hut building, with a sign saying "if your names not down, you're not getting in". Does Gigi or Kim knit? Maybe they could knit her some special ostrich sized leg warmers. Or if there is someone who works with dry suit material, they maybe able to make some velcro leg warmers for wanda.

I already have thought of that, because I crochet. I think it would be hard to slide on so I am thinking of a tie on thing or velcro. It would probably be better if it was made from Polar fleece like a wrap around velcro "leg blanket". I do not have a sewing machine and cannot make that, however.

Tina's legs are probably filled with Bursa fluid. Bursa are the "shock absorber" for joints. When the joint is overworked it can build up excess fluid.

Oh that is painful I've had steroid injections in my thumb and at different times hands.Those are painful as well but worth the pain relief

Did you notice Tina was scratching her head between your legs Lester?😂😂 you’re a brave man Lester! 🤣❤️❤️❤️ I heard from somewhere that kids actually get cavities when the parent offers a taste of their food from their spoon (let’s say, ice cream), it transfers bacteria (from the spoon) to the babies, and this is where cavities start. So maybe the previous owner ate apples and carrots with the horse?! Who knows! 😂

Those who have experienced frostbite, will ALWAYS have pain, swelling and other issues when the weather gets cold. I've heard hundreds of my fellow veterans tell their experiences 20, 30, even 40 years after the original injury. It's painful! Some have even lost body parts due to the extreme damage. Gangrene is a very real danger in frostbite cases, too.

I guess we now know why Dixie has not acted like herself lately. She has been ornery about moving to the pasture, even with the snacks. Now we know it was the pain in her mouth, poor baby. Hopefully she is feeling better and back to her sweet self. No more sweet cereal. I think you have a good "short" to put out with you holding the ostrich and her head between your legs. Jack sure got a good laugh out of it, and I did too. Also, your cold weather video had several clips in it that can be pulled out for "shorts" or "tic toc" (Trudy running, Moo and the owl ...). The cavities could be from the animal crackers, goldfish, and such that are being given to the horses. If they're being ground down into the grooves of the teeth, they can turn sugary as they break down and cause the teeth to decay.

Sometimes cyst occur because of a hard hit! When Carl jumps on her she could of gotten hit by his feet ! I watch a channel the vet takes care of cow! He mentioned it all the time

Remember that one time Pig Trudy had that cyst on her side from the goat hitting her. I was thinking she hit something too. God bless Lester and Jami always being on top of everything. I can't imagine having over 150 animals and knowing all their health concerns. ♥️♥️♥️

You should put a pool noodle or leather or sports tape and some cushioning or something around Wandas leg to give it support/help her keep it warm. Heat alone could help. Also anti inflammatory for the pain or another pain reliever may help Wanda. Can an ostrich take paracetamol? Or heat rub?
