The owners of New Horizons are great people, they will build what you want, how you want it. Best thing I like is they do not dismiss you if you can not afford their trailers, just looking at them for ideas. Told me that my old trailer was a well built trailer. I found out later the same company that built my frame builds theirs, Young's Welding in KS, not the junk Liepert builds.

THANK YOU Robert. New Horizon's are custom built, so each build is different price. They use real wood, not cheap wood. Frames are built by Young's Welding, not Liepert junk. Same company that built the frame that my Nuwa has.

The 12 V outlet by the bed is for CPap machine power adapters, Phillips and some of the other makers use the cigarette lighter type plugs for their adapters.

Robert, I noticed that you mentioned that 12 volt refrig is the way of the future and seemed to endorse it. We are debating upgrading the Micro Minnie Winnie 2108 tb non-flex to the gas/electric fridge. It is about a $700 upgrade. We plan to boondock a lot, without electric hookups, but we will have a generator. Do you think the upgrade would be worth it, or should we stick with the 12 volt fridge?

For boondocking I prefer gas absortion, but they are becoming rare. I didn't see any manufacturer installing them on new rigs.

While you asked Robert, it all depends on what you want. I am a big fan of New Horizon's for 5th wheels, each one custom built. Not a fan of Space Craft, but out of budget for most anyways. You asked who to stay away from, all seem to have good and bad, but who stands behind what they build. I know that New Horizon's stands behind their product and so does Alliance and Alliance is now making bumper pull trailers.

No way do i want the dining opening on Airstream’s. Compromises structure. I’ll open the door and step outside under awning for Fresh air. Terrible design. Love the Westfalia. Finally a bathroom with window that opens in class B.

New Horizons custom build each unit, so price changes with each build, but had Robert asked they would have gave him an idea. Sure you can get prices from any of those with a display, just may not have had time to put all out. Plus not posting gets people to ask questions.

Air stream is a very quality built but no storage, no feel good living space and you can’t even sit inside to watch tv comfortably. This is a lot of money for not so much comfort. Yes I know in twenty years it will still be worth a lot of money and my solitude will not but I will trade twenty years of comfort for that.
