I feel like I can say this now,,,I started watching your "Driving to the west" series prior to this one, a few years ago as I was in my first stage of recovery from Alcohol and drugs. Those videos gave me a huge sense of relief and peace. Today I am much better and I go on plenty of road trip adventures of my own, which is something that I never even considered in my sick days. I'm on an adventure right now as I type this of Texas hill country. Thanks for the peace and relief that your content provides.

Robert, it has been a pleasure to see this video even if it is almost 4 hours long and we have seen it in portions but very sad to see your injury. I hope you are better now since you are a strong champion doing those hikes that I would not even dare do in my health state. I know it was over one year ago but hopefully no long-term aches and pains from this injury. Let us know if you have a meet and greet in the Miami or Broward county area since we are from Broward. Love your content and wish you both the best.

I am an American who lived in France as a student in 1992 with no major issues despite their reputation for rudeness. I guess it all depends on what neighborhoods you go to and who you interact with. I happen to be 25% of French descent and speak the language fluently, which really makes a difference. i have also taken classes in Spain and attended a World Youth Day in Italy with no problems. I am half Italian and speak Spanish fluently, too, which has also been helpful. Of the states I've been to in the U.S., I have found people in New England, Florida, and Southern California to be more courteous and laid back than in my home state of NJ and neighboring NY. New Englanders seem to enjoy more wholesome ways of living (less congestion, better air quality, better care of the environment). Florida and Southern California have the advantage of warmer climates and a slower pace.

What an extensive and great road trip! You do it up right. Goin on a road trip with you is like going mysdlf, or at least the closest thing to it. PS- Native Atlantan here.... 42 miles out to the south now. The imports were ruining it. All the best stuff in Atlanta is on the North side of the city, Buckhead north. Atlanta's churches are not to be missed. And hearing " Big Moe", the centuries old pipe organ in the Fox Theatre. You haven't lived. Also go upstairs to The Egyptian Room in The Fox. Sunday afternoon they usually have a short organ concert before the movie. THE VARSITY, intersection of North Ave & I-75/85 near Georgia Tech. Best fast food ever! (Onion rings especially good w/burgers/dogs. Choc. P.C. Chili dawgs & bergers. Fried pies! Yum. Piedmont park, downtown Peachtree & 10th sts, Nature in the city. You missed alot of what Atlanta has to offer. Saint Phillips Cathedral, Peachtree St. at Buckhead. Elton John lives just up the road in the penthouse. Your assesment of Atl. Fairly close. Just not at night, except if you travel with a local to keep you out of bad areas. One of which was around the MLK Center.. Not after dark. Decatur (east Atlanta) not for after dark.🙄😮 You're smart on your roadtrip to bypass Cali.....😄👏🌹

Good morning Robert...... depending un what continent you are. Just subscribed and really enjoy your content and all the intel that comes with it. I'm 45 mins into this video and I wish I could keep on going but it will have to wait till later. Just a factoid I wanted to share with you though. I've been living in S.E FLA since 81 and prior went to school in Gainesville. I worked at the front desk at the Hilton to make it through college and while there met a lot of interesting people and loved my job. One day the film crew and producer for Sean Connery's last James Bond movie, Never say never again. Got to know them and 3 days in they offered me a job that I coundnt refuse. Talked to my manager and he said go for it and you'll always have a job waiting for you here. I was hired to be a driver and errand runner and the pay was mind boggling for a 20 year old so I regularly pinched myself to make sure I was'nt in a dream. Anyways what I wanted to tell you is that almost all the underwater scenes for the movie where done in Ichetucknee, Palm, and a couple of other Springs in the area. All the actors were doubles and a wonderful man by the name of Big John McLaughlin was the double for James B. I can't say enough good things about him and we got a long really good. He sadly passed recently, 2020 and may God bless his soul. Look him up if you get a chance, I think you'll find him to be quite the Gentle Giant. I ended up getting tight with upper management for the movie and after over a month of filming they took me to Epcot which had recently opened. Life is good and you've got a great handle on it. Wish you all the very best always and be safe Sir. PS: Conchale manejas como un loco de bola no joda. Dale mas tranquilito mano.😅😅 Just kidding. I couldnt resist that one. I obviously like the go-pro on top of your trailer. 👍🔥

Robert, I love your videos. My parents had an RV and would travel to Florida every winter from Illinois to stay with my husband and me for the holidays, then on to Key West during the month of January. Your videos bring back such happy memories. 🥰🚐 Most recently, I’ve enjoyed the long videos while packing for a move to another part of Florida. Your music and your voice kept me calm and thinking positive thoughts during the monumental task of making the move happen. Thanks for that! I hope your leg has healed by now. I always used to wet classify in order to solve the issue you mentioned early on in the video. I think this would eliminate the possible problem of disturbing the flow while picking out larger pebbles/rocks. Basically keep your 5 gallon bucket full with water when classifying therefore stripping any gold from those rocks. Agitation with your hands while shaking helps ensure success during classification.
