Just fyi This is an intercity train not a high speed one that can travel up to 350 kph. Also, you can board any train in that day as long as you have a ticket so you don’t have to rush as they depart every 10-15 mins. It’s like suburban trains in Europe. Hope you enjoyed your trip:))

In fact, the high-speed railway between Guangzhou and Shenzhen is not the fastest. I remember the last time we took the same carriage, but the speed was only 200km/h, which was much slower than my journey between Beijing and Shanghai (which reached 350km/h)
