Having worked in Norway for the last 4 years (Ålesund and Stavanger), I can say, from my experience, that most of Norway is beautiful, safe, friendly and full of things to do. Wish I could convince the wife to move. Another great video 👍

OMG I was just in Tromsø as Bodø ran out of airbnb stays, lol. Not going to Reine was my single regret, Norway is truly out of this world beautiful. Ålesund in particular will forever be my favorite place on the planet, at least until I get to Lofoten ;)

@@TravelingwithKristin I'm jealous of my friends in Cambodia who are making short trips to Thailand or Laos. So, between you and my friends, I'm constantly reminded about getting away. Going back to Cambodia for a month. Visiting friends, and fish farms, around the country. And a week of remote work. Safe travels Kristin. 😊

Nice video! The airports mentioned at 2:50 is not quite correct, though. Bodø and Evenes are the "large" airports where SAS, Norwegian and some other airlines fly to, and Svolvær and Leknes are the small(er) airports where only Wideøe fly with their 39-seat propeller planes.

Hey Kristin. I'm a subscriber and watched many of your videos. I was wondering if you have a home base somewhere, and if you might do a video on having a home base and traveling back and forth... maybe... not sure if it's a good idea or not. Just curious about how you manage all this travel.
@TravelingwithKristin11 ай бұрын
Hi Michelle T.! Thanks for being a subscriber and tuning in! 🌟 I currently don't have a home base, but I advocate for slow travel and did a podcast on why I find it easier: www.badassdigitalnomads.com/slow-travel-tips-from-nora-dunn-the-professional-hobo/ Happy travels! 🌍😊

I like traveling but to a point. For me it would get old in short time. Even now sometimes I'm away from home two or three days at a time and I just can't wait to get back home. I can't imagine being on the go 24/7 but I guess you have to be "built" for it!
@TravelingwithKristin11 ай бұрын
I totally understand, @jaxxonbalboa! Traveling can be intense, and everyone has their comfort zone. It's great that you appreciate the balance and the comfort of home. We all have our own rhythm, and that's what makes life interesting! 😊🏡
