I have one in about a 14-16" pot I bought via the Internet for about $160-170 and it's about 6' tall with about 4-5, 12-14" wide and 18" long leaves already! I went ahead and shelled out some money for a fairly well along plant, rather than struggle with a seedling. It's sitting on my back porch in a shaded area b/c the leaves tend to curl and burn a bit when they're in full sun. This summer I intend to introduce it to full sun little by little, probably in 15 min. increments so it will acclimate to it. I assume it was grown under a shade cloth down in Florida. What do you think about my appoach? Good luck with yours, BTW. They're impressive! 🪴🌴

Oh wow, nice! Congrats! Awesome! I’m not sure how well these will do in pots, I’ve never actually seen one in a pot before (I do have Giant White Bird of Paradise in pots though and they do fine). I think your plan sounds solid. Good luck to you, friend! Thanks!
