I flew into Minsk at the beginning of October and was on one of the only two flights arriving on that day. I was eligible for a 30-day visa-free as long as I entered and exited the country through Minsk International Airport. I booked a $19 room in a shared apartment with a window overlooking the train passed by. Through my solo travel, I hope to showcase the other side of Belarus.

In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and KZbin creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on KZbin, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.

Was feeling nostalgic when I saw your video. You presented Minsk in a wonderful way. Truly, it is a beautiful city, with a beautiful people. Love how you went to the main places but also many other out of the way areas, like the Children's park! Minsk is soooo clean, every hour there is a team of street cleaners scrubbing the roads. I had such a lovely memory in Belarus but not so much with the authority as my $1500 drone was confiscated and had to sit at a police office for the whole day and had an "interview" by chief specialist from the Ministry of Aviation. Интеллигентный, но не очень. Подрастающее и подросшее поколение это "очень" искореняют наглым поведением, девушки как одна ругаются матом, ребята ищут легкой наживы. Утеряны чувства патриотизма и это признак потери адекватного отношения внутри страны. Слава Богу, они ни есть 100% беларусов, пытающихся сохранить культуру поведения и не вестись на провакационные выбросы этих "не очень".

I would never have known Belarus if not for your vlog. Minsk is such a beautiful city. The buildings are so classical, the roads are wide and streets not crowded. Its a pity the eating place at the supermarket was close as I would love to see some typical Belarus food on display...I loved food!! Can't wait to see your next vlog.

I'd studied in Minsk for 5 years (1978-1983) but no chance to go back to visit the city, normally the town is clean, the traffic is easy, people is friendly ( miss my classmates!!) I love the town! and you are(lady) lucky to see and travel around Minsk!
