Travelling From China To South Korea For Our First Ever Visit! Asia Trip 2024

Our June 2024 trip to Asia continues as we make our way from Beijing, China to Seoul in South Korea for the second part of our adventure. In this vlog we take you along for the journey along with our flight to Korea, followed by public transport from Seoul Airport to the city center. We then get a little lost as we try to find our hotel, eventually making it to our room! We also talk about the theme parks we'll be visiting over the next few days!

future reference use naver maps in korea, thats what they use there and it works perfectly 👍 they dont use google/apple maps so thats why its wrong

Hope your journey to South Korea is smooth, and welcome to my country, South Korea. I hope you have a wonderful time here, and I will talk about some park information. 1. Seasons (Current Seasonal Events) and new things: -Lotte World: City Vacance and Samba (Expect to see the Samba Parade [Takes place at 2:00 p.m.] and don't miss the new night parade, 'World of Light [Takes place at 8:00 p.m.]) -Everland: Rose Festival (Until June 16). Expect to see the famous rose garden that makes a great photo spot. -Seoul Land: Kraken Island, which is a playground and water park combined. However, you should see it from a distance, as this is for kids and families. -Legoland: Summer Season event coming soon. The 4D theater is showing 4 films at different times: 'LEGO Friends 4D: Alien Invasion', 'LEGO DREAMZzz 4D: Z-Blob Rescue Rush', 'LEGO MYTHICA: Journey to MYTHICA 4D (I remember watching MYTHICA in Legoland Windsor, which is 'Flight of the Sky Lion'), 'LEGO City 4D: Officer in Pursuit'. 2. Tips to remember about Lotte World: A. Currently, some rides require making a reservation by lining up and getting a ride ticket from the kiosk. It's free, and be quick as reservations can end fast! The rides that currently require a reservation to ride are: 1. Comet Express (Magic Island) 2. French Revolution (Adventure 2nd floor) 3. The Conquistador, pirate ship ride (Adventure 1st floor) 4. Balloon Ride (Adventure 4th floor) Keep in mind, that all groups who are riding must wait in line for reservation, and you can't choose the time of return(The time of return is determined when you make the reservation.). B. The following rides have a Single Rider line. It can change at any time, so please check. -French Revolution -The Conquistador -Balloon Ride -Bumper Car (Adventure 2nd floor) -Pharaoh's Fury (Adventure 4th floor) -The Adventures of Sindbad (Adventure 1st floor) -Bungee Drop (Magic Island) -Swing Tree (Magic Island) -Atlantis (Magic Island) C. At 15:14 of the video, you can see the big tower. That's Seoul Sky Tower, also called Lotte World Tower. I visit there on weekends, and it's always full of tourists and locals alike. You can get there by going to Lotte World Mall. D. Tomb of Horror (Adventure 1st floor) and Moonboat (Magic Island) require an additional fee.

It’s called in-chon airport. It’s the standard for Korea. They also have another airport in jeju which handles mostly domestic flights. It’s Jed-ju (like the word juice). That area is like the Hawaii of Korea. Seoul is a very busy city and is like a very high tech New York city as it has that feel. Jolly usually is there and maybe Mike Chen. La carmina is somehow in Iceland. Jackie was on lighthouse point and Tim tracker is heading for Disney cruising again.

11:38 When I was a kid, my dad had a really bad experience on a business trip at Beijing Airport. It was fall 2000, going home, he had tickets on Northwest Airlines from Beijing to Detroit, Michigan, then transfer to a regional jet from Detroit to Lexington, KY (Bluegrass Airport). This was before 9/11 when you were allowed to go through security and meet people at the gate. In Beijing, his flight got canceled and had an overnight delay. Back home, my dad didn't get off the plane. The pilot got off, uh, oh, we are in an ominous situation. My mother and I were in panic mode then wandering if he would ever come home. We left the airport crying when he didn't get off the plane. Fortunately, he did come home and made a call overseas stating what happened, but this was back before people carried cell phones abroad so if you had an emergency abroad like your flight got cancelled or delayed, it was more expensive to make overseas calls then. People didn't have smartphones and couldn't simply get on Wi Fi or use an alternative app such as Facebook messenger or Skype in a critical urgent situation abroad to alert family back home.

i dont know if Korea is the same as japan but the little step up in the hotel room (or houses) is a slipper only zone no trainers or boots hence why there is slippers there

7:40 My mother got to meet the real Colonel Harland Sanders in the 1960s as a child. He was out greeting the customers at a KFC in Louisville, KY. KFC is much better in Europe and the USA than in China. There is even a KFC Museum in Corbin, KY with an actual operating KFC connected to it the next time you do another USA road trip from Cincinnati to Pigeon Forge, TN. You might stop there going from Kings Island to Dollywood.

I'm sure others must have already said this but use Naver Maps in Korea. Apple and Google Maps don't work because they only use map sites with local servers; something to do with national security with North Korea, I think. Probably too late now but hope you had a great time!
