Different country, own rules. If people of non-burmese origin are required to assume a burmese name for official documents, then so be it. They are not being asked to change religion. In a broader sense, it's a way of assimilating them into the system, being citizens of Burma. At least they're not being ostracized like the Rohingya muslims. If i were in their shoes, I'd adopt a sexy burmese name.
