Venezuela is suffering due to free distribution of it's resources and sanctions by US and allies. Indian political leaders are doing same sort of free distribution to grab the power. Even a prominent party in India promised to pay 1,00,00 to each unemployed women without even thinking how many crores they have to spend in that and if they have enough budgeted money to distribute. Those party leaders were not even able to explain the financials. They won the election and were celebrating also. So India is also in Venezuela way. Secondly, since Venezuela did not provide free oil to US, sanctions were imposed on grounds of unfair election. But Pakistan had most unfair election but since Pak is great ally of USA, inspite of creating terror heaven, unfair election, Pak is enjoying all the benefits.

India and Venezuela are both too much different country in aspect of geopolitics. India is a powerful country in the world and has respected position in every world view . Due to being economically not quite on par with China. That's why we are on 12th position in terms of soft power otherwise i don't think so people consider India as that much small country to waste it's potential. America's biggest corporations are running by Indians and not even talking about Indian CEO but employees as well so not sure how you said something like that .. Indian diaspora is so much high in west. Though i agree with your point of freebies but can't do anything cuz of Indian people being too much simple and individualistic

Venezuela went for wealth distribution law and see the state of affairs.I was on a mechant vessel that went to Venezuela some 18-20 years ago and thought venzuela is much advanced than India at the time and again in 2022 and was surprised to see the change ,the same laws congress party of India wants to bring into India.We Indians will also see the same change in India if these laws are applicable in India by the congress.
