In Suriname go to Nieuw Nickerie. There lives many indians ...they still speak hindi, bhojpuri( UP/BIHAR) language and Netherlands.. Nickerie is a small city but very beautiful. You feel like you are in India. From there you can go to Guyana... All types good and sweet indian food you have in Nickerie . Suriname food is the best food ever! because the kitchen is a mix of indian, indonesian, chinese and creol food.. Try Nasi kip (chicken fry rice from Indonesian( javaans in dutch) food, bami kip ( spaghetty chcicken) saoto soep , bakabana, loempia ,sate, kroket.... try nasi kip of chinese restaurant and try from indian suriname most famous in Paramaribo is ROOPRAM ... there roti chicken curry or rice chicken curry.. they are the best! you have too many roopram in Paramaribo.. Even we have here in Netherland vmany roopram ... because is the best indian suriname food! enjoy it and try it!

Torvashu i faced same thing when i traveled to Paramaribo even though I had business visa for Suriname still. It’s sad situation because of this illegal immigrants normal people like us with Indian passports face lot of trouble in latin countries . Since I had US visa and proof of residence in US it was bit easy for me but still had to face 1 hour of questioning from immigration officer in Paramaribo. Trinidad & Tabago is relatively easy to travel. Guyana is worst in my experience. All the best for travels. Wishing you good luck.
