Man, how things change. When I was last in NZ in 2019, drones were essentially forbidden. Very cool to see it's now possible to fly in these spectacular places (with the appropriate permits of course).

Most of the drone footage I sore in this video is technically illegal as it is still forbidden/ against the rules to fly a drone over any of New Zealand's national park and Aoraki/Mount Cook area is a national park
