G'day! The white-coloured food that you were pointing at stall is called "laksam", made from rice flour. I don't think there is any equivalent name in English for that food. Keep on having that high energy!

@@farandbeyond i havent had that in 30 years but its like rolled up rice cake served with white coconut sauce that's cooked with chunks of thick mackerel bits. I love it.

no youtuber will travel solo to patani from golok becuase not much going on there and its a majority muslim area with thai army patroling the area . can be intimidating for foreigners. be safe mate, cheers.
@farandbeyond11 ай бұрын
I honestly felt very very safe, not once intimidated, even the military were very friendly to me, but your right, there isn't a lot happening there

Does the air conditioner in the 300 baht room work? Nice cheap place in Sungai Kolok.
@farandbeyond11 ай бұрын
No the AC in that room didn't work, honesty it was very cheap but the most uncomfortable room ive ever stayed in, the toilet was leaking all over the floor, the bed was hard as a rock, no AC and it smelt like mold hahaha you get what you pay for I guess

The Kelantan & South Thai people looks the same in every aspect, the only thing that you can differentiates between them is the English proficiency. The white thing u thinks is squid is called "laksam". Its a type of noodle made by rice flour, like a pasta. That one look so long and 'squid' like because is not yet been cut. Its need to be cut into small pieces before we eat it.

Aaaa ok thats what it was haha I had no idea, thanks. Thanks for watching and your comment!

@@farandbeyond yes, and Malay is still widely speaking at that area. The lady in red literally speak Kelantanese with you not in Thai language.. 😄
