After almost a month of travelling here in India, we have finally made it to the south and will be spending one night in a houseboat on the backwaters of Kerala.
We booked this stay with a company called India Vacationz Houseboats. They are the best when it comes to houseboats in Kerala so booking with them when wanting do such a trip is a must.
We booked the Honeymoon suite which is at the back of the boat and gives you 360 degree views of the backwaters and the room also comes with it's own bathroom as well as an aircon. So it has everything you would need.
included in our room rate was breakfast, lunch and dinner, so no need to bring anything else with you. Entertainment was also provided onboard which was so much fun. We danced like we never danced before and must say that we pulled some pretty good Indian dance moves, haha!

that fish you ate is called a Pearl Spotter.( Karimeen in local lingo). Its a brackish water fish, white meat and a lot of bones. its best eaten grilled or fried as whole fish and they also do steam it in a banana leaf with a lot of the local spices.

You havent even touched the northern and north eastern parts at all.....and me as an Indian who is a avid traveller and had been traveliing to differents parts of India every year, since past several years, still believe I havent covered even 60% till date, thats how big and diverse our country is. And u even didn't visit himalayan states like himalchal pradesh, kashmir, sikkim. And then the modern india like hitech cities like gurugram, hyderabad,pune, surat,bangalore etc. There r many many many more. So dont even think u covered more than 1%, I really mean it. If u think so then just open detail india map, u will understand.
