I'm a printer by trade, I can tell you one thing, the material they use to print these cards on are 24pt card stock . Depending on the humidity and weather, This material can wick water right out the air pretty darn fast. I would not put my complete hopes in the weight of a blister pack.

That kangaskhan card is the most beautiful Pokémon card ever, the story behind it is just beautiful, a kid with his parents going to the event and playing Pokémon cards and receiving that card for winning some games, it’s just priceless, the core memory that kid created that day and remembering it through that card is priceless, also the pokemon they chose is perfect, because it’s a pokemon that has a little kid🥺

I think if there were one big item I wish I had, it'd be the ex deoxys box at 9:40 For purely childhood memories. The one time we actually got a heap of packs was because our local grocery store had ex deoxys packs on clearance for 15c each. (australian) We ended up getting a bit over 50-60 of them and hurriedly opened them at home. A lot of people tell me "do you regret opening them? That's like $75,000 AUD now" and I happily say no. Buying an opening those packs as a child from a relatively poor family were literally some of the best memories I ever have. I think if Im ever financially secure, I'll buy some unopened packs, maybe even save for a box, but I don't think I'll ever be at that point. Fingers crossed though.

i don't know why PSA could grade it 10 because whever a MTG card was signed, we call it SP. The highest grade would be 9.0. The logic is that your autograph has already put a mark on the card which is considered as damaged. You can check this fact in the market.

There is much less alpha lotuses than 1100, there may have been 1100 printed, but back in the day lotuses were seen as a garbage pull, i personally witnessed 2 alpha lotuses torn apart in front of my eyes as a kid when they were taken out of packs by other people. They were seen as absolute trash.

I own lots of Super Nintendo games that I had when I was a kid. The vintage games are way better than the newer games. I have super Mario super metro Zelda donkey Kong. There not sealed but I had countless hours of fun with them and they still work great

It’s taboo for graded videos games not because of the fact that it’s newer than graded cards, it’s the fact that it’s easier to reseal the plastic wrap and create fake card board boxes (not just the box itself but for the cardboard inside if there originally was any). In short it’s significantly easier create fraud in the graded video game space relative to grades trading cards. Also on a side tangent, I suggest looking into the parties involved in WATA and VGA there is hella sketchy stuff going on behind the scenes. That’s why it’s sketchy not because of the public’s view on it as being ‘taboo’. More research needs to be done by the collector dude speaking on this so matter.

Slight correction with the gold megaman cart. Yusuke murata was the one who submitted the mega man design and won the cart who is the artist for one punch man. The image showed is One who created opm but didnt win the cart
