Nice video - I note you have a frame around your outboard on the little boat- Try making a TEMPORARY ply rudder, and clamp it onto the frame, then lock your outboard at straight ahead position and see if it steers better with the rudder. He and Granny used to go on holidays walking the canals. They once did the Leeds-Liverpool. Hi I am glad to see you are all safe and well 😊 I would like to thank you for taking the time to produce such wonderful videos ot your life living on the canals of this country.. They have brought back fond memories of my life on the canals.. I lived on a narrow boat for over fifty years and enjoyed every minute of it.. unfortunately I had to leave the narrow boat life behind because of my health .. Issues.. how ever thanks to you and a few others . the memories of my life keep flooding back . There are a few things that I miss . one being the community spirit that abounds on the canals. The sense of belonging is something that you will always remember no matter what you decide to do in the future.. I’m 60 (plus🤣) a part time vlogger ‘cause I work on heritage and infrastructure and don’t have the time to produce many. I love your channel, but must confess I only watch one, every two or three months. Unfortunately there are a lot of naff channels, with equally naff thumbnails, vying for ‘clickbait’, not informative at all. Yours though, are interesting, invested, well edited, with a great mix of humour and professionalism dedicated to the life. You ‘sell’ the life well intentioned and come across completely authentic and truly honest. Love the incidental music, but most of all you guys.
