That building you pointed out is not the President's Secretary's office, it is the Presidential Secretariat, which consists of the President's office and the offices of other senior members of the administration. ( It is the old parliament building). When you pressed the button to cross the street, did you expect the light to turn green for you immediately?! #pikkupaaji you have shown modern Columbo so far. This is all cosmopolitan like our Gurugram region. High rises, modern architecture, malls, fancy stuff, kind of concrete jungle. Am sure the real old Columbo would have its own ancient heritage which you would have explored by now and would showcase in coming episodes of this travel series.
