Hello Anna, I'm glad you and your Mom had a good time on the cruise ship. As a child I was on a cruise ship with my parents, it was much smaller in comparison to the one you were on. At the time there were not any kids on the ship so when I managed to be in the elevator with the Captain and he asked how I was liking the ship, I said, I think you need cartoons in the theatre,he laughed but he did bring in cartoons. I also made friends with the change man, who was amused at a little kid, playing and winning the slot machine with quarters. I wore an olive green jacket to dinner each night and had it cleaned for the next day. I think it would be overwhelming and mindblowing to think you were actually sailing on something so expansive. Your career allows you to enjoy all these forms of travel, the added bonus is that you can speak many languages as well, increasing the richness of your travels and of the people you meet. Take Care. I understand that it is the time of the year when people in Japan go back to their family home. Enjoy yourself.....

Thanks for the tour. It is like a mini-city. I would need a week to get used to it, set a routine, pick my favorite spots on the ship, select my favorite food dishes, figure out best activities, etc. Worth it just to experience the size and scale of the ship.

The main dining room is actually included. They serve breakfast and dinner. On sea days, they also serve lunch in the main dining room. There are a few other eating area that is included. Speciality restaurants have extra charges.

By the way, the bed can also be separated into two. Just ask your room attendant, they will help you with that.

The windjammer and sorretos are complimentary. The beds are two doubles and yes, you can ask them to be apart. I would certainly recommend booking activities in advance as it is morencheaper thab doin in onboard.

I exchanged only for $50 for each currency. And we didn't use them all. First, you need to book the excursion in advance, so where you will use the money is...only for the street food and some souvenirs. If you are worried, you can exchange $100 just in case but i dont think you would need them.

Thank you Anna for these awesome impressions. The cruiser is really... BIG. Like, intimidatingly BIG. Expecially with these many people around. XD Unfortunately, I had to stop watching midhalf (at the beginning of the Penang excursion), because the video stutters a lot on my TV set, as if the KZbin player is dropping frames. Gave a "Like" nonetheless and will try watching it again later on another TV set. :)

Hi Anna and thanks for uploading your new video. I'm glad you and your mother enjoyed the cruise so much. The ship is massive and so beautiful. It's literally a city on the seas!! I doubt that anybody could get bored onboard this ship as there's so many things to see and do. I was surprised to see a place where you can take a ride on bumper cars (we call them that in the UK not go-karts). The food looked exceptional and the excursions you took were interesting. Take care of yourself and have a fantastic weekend.

I forgot the price but it wasn't so much. If you take the island hopping excursion in Phuket, the price is higher...close to $100 or so. And usually, I prefer to explore by myself but this time I was with my mom. So, with the excursion, it was easier.

I forgot the name...but in Penang, it was "George town" without rickshaw and it started around 2 or 3 pm and for 3 hours. In Phuket, it took about 3 hours as well.

No, I think you need to make a line for check-in. And you can choose the time when you want to check-in in advance. I think it starts from 12pm.

As far as I remember...In Penang, it was around 1 or 2 pm and you have 5 hours or so. In Phuket, we arrived around 7 am or so. And we left at night :)

I have no idea but when you take a cruise trip, most of them do it. Not only on this cruise. I googled it..."Of course, since there are many people of different nationalities on board, the ship's company will confirm whether or not they meet the entry requirements, but often an immigration inspector will come on board and conduct a comprehensive inspection. In such cases, it is a minimum requirement that all passengers and crew members aboard the cruise ship have their passports, so in order to facilitate immigration inspections, we sometimes "temporarily hold" passports for passengers and crew members."
