Hi Anna, You see quite a lot when you go to these places and there is all the time before when you make your plans as well. Your filming gave off a calm restful place and made a good impression. The area where the onsen was reminded me of other places you'd been with the bridges and a canal running though the streets. Stay healthy and happy. Thanks for all your hard work. Take care.

Yeah g'day Anna, You can definitely see where Mr. Miyazaki gets his inspiration from both forms of environment, the scenes going to the silver mine were very much as if he drew and coloured them. The cherry picking takes me back to years past when I used to go do it then drive several hours back home eating cherries all the way home just complaining about my upset stomach afterward, to which I got no sympathy from my parents and ex-partner. Yes, I used to spread the pips on the way home. Just give me some books, continuous coffee and I'm happy. Thank you

Hi Anna and thanks for the video. You have more than convinced me now that Yamagata prefecture is a region that should be visited. It looks great and it's not crowded - perfect for me. All of the places you visited - can you go by train or bus or do you really need to rent a car? The citrus soba looks interesting to eat. I'd like to try it in the future. Take care of yourself and have a great weekend.

Yes, you should visit Yamagata! I really like it. You really need to rent a car in Yamagata. it takes forever to get to each spot by train or bus :/ but it's easy to drive because there are much less cars there.

I really enjoy the deep dives into japan that most people do not show. I am glad the weather was not super hot for you to enjoy Ginzen Onsen! Thank you very much for sharing the trip and safe travels!

Thank you so much Anna, for sharing another beautiful video. If you ever come my way (Nova Scotia, Canada), it would be my pleasure to bring you to what is called the Cape Breton Miners Museum. There, you will learn just how hard the coal miners really had it. I would be able to give you a personal tour of two company houses from two different time periods, and what is called the company store. It is where the coal miners were only allowed to go.

Thank you for showing more of Yamagata than I've seen in other vids! I usually just see the big onsen area but I loved that when you explored it was simply between all the other experiences. thanks for sharing!!

Lovely trip, Anna, but your videos are moving faster and faster. Could you possibly slow down just a little bit?
