I visited the Chingai village in 2003 during Christmas's celebration, I still remember how mesmerizing the scenic beauty overlook the village landscape. There with some help from the villager;s we went up to pluck gooseberry over the hillock passing through one abandon medical campus (i am not sure), the trip took us near the myanmar border and the view was just overwhelmingly beautiful. The irony was there were no electricity during that period of time and there existed only one cinema hall for entertainment purpose and there I saw a movie which is really hard to remember, the road condition remains the same as much as a I remember. Had a very good time spend in the village, love to visit and experience the landscape again. Thanks to Doordarshan Team for bringing up this opportunity to keep alive the memory.

Oldest sub division of Ukhrul dist. Manipur very sad seeing in this conditions hope the govt. Of Manipur take necessary measures to ensure the SDO office is functional not just by name.
