One thing to keep in mind, yes, it does get ungodly hot in Vegas in the summer, but they have the AC blasting in the hotel lobbies, casinos and restaurants. If you are prone to getting cold, definitely bring a light jacket and then just tie it around your waist or stick it in your bag when you go outside. I’ve forgotten this so many times!

Great video Ruby! I’ve been to Vegas many times so I already have an ongoing packing list, but you still had items I need to add. The pool float totally wowed me! I usually bring another kind but yours is so much easier to pack and inflate so I’m definitely getting those. I also loved the backpack and the marble brush and cosmetic bag.

Love the hair, looks so good on you. I always pack tons of dresses for Vegas because they can be dressed up or down and they are so comfy in the heat. I also 2nd the H&M recommendation, if I need a new swimsuit I will wait to buy one until I’m in Vegas bc that Caesar’s Palace H&M usually has cheaper swimsuits and better variety than my local one

I am so used to packing for a 5 day trip in a carryon that when I packed for a 10 day visit to Vegas I had tons of room left in my suitcase of 25”. I checked it as well. Once u get used to packing lite it’s hard to pack more for a longer trip

On amazon you can find a 25 pack of Twenty four ounce clear plastic cups, lids, and straws, its a great starter kit for making drinks to go in your hotel room. Every floor has Free Ice you can buy liquor beer or wine on the strip or bring it from home in aluminum water bottles.

Love the video, thank you for mentioning the weather during that time. Please don't put the suitcase on the bed without a towel underneath it. Airports can't be pretty gross and you're placing those germs right on your linen. I love the tips in this video!

I’m so completely opposite I don’t pack any dresses or swimsuits because I don’t go to the pool or go anywhere that requires a dress. I might take a maxi and that’s it and I don’t pack heavy for Vegas at all I pack very light in fact I can probably fit everything in a carry-on for four or five days. T-shirts and jeans are life and I don’t even wear makeup most of the time - low maintenance fun

I really love your videos and this is very helpful for my next travel! Have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. I've been using this bag for months now and it is such a hack. It has a trolley sleeve feature and it fits under the seat too! makes your travel more convenient and effortless and it packs like a suitcase too!

My travel advice; Before a trip, buy new socks, underwear, and toothbrush. Bring your OLD stuff, use it and throw away. Less laundry to wash when you get home, and creates luggage space for souvenirs. Face it, everyone, especially men have old underwear that should have already been replaced. I have extended this to sleepwear, jeans.... It's a win win.
