​@zendoll1 This is at Anthony's steakhouse at MResort, offering a Sunday brunch buffet only. The MResort buffet used to be a regular buffet but they had special nights and it was outstanding. Sadly, after covid hit, a lot of the buffets didn't reopen. The same thing happened at Aria and also Silverton, who used to offer lobster night on Fridays.

This would be a special occasion spend. It's seems expensive but given what they offer. It's seems worth it for a birthday, anniversary or a occasion to treat someone you love. Everything looked great. It seems they pride themselves on quality and as someone who has worked in the industry I know how hard it is to come through and how much skill and discipline the chefs have to have to deliver it like that everyday. Thanks for the great and honest review.

It would be hard to get past the $100 price tag, however, it was obvious that this was truly trying to provide an outstanding food experience (not just ambiance) to justify the price...its seems like they may have succeeded!! As a typical midwestern American male it would be hard to spend the $ when I know that a plate full of biscuits & gravy along with a pile of bacon can make me as happy as can be!

Airline Chicken...The name of the cut is variously attributed to the shape resembling an airplane wing or that, because the exposed bone could be used as a handle to pick up the entire piece and eat it out of hand, it made it easier to eat in-flight.

Based on Ruby's video of the M Resort $100.00 buffet, I prefer Caesar's Bacchanal buffet . The $100.00 buffet definitely looked good but not good enough to blow Caesar's buffet out the of the water, so to speak. Thumbs up for Ruby's video.

Not sure if I missed it mentioned in the video, but just in case people watching don't know, the M Resort buffet here is based in the steakhouse restaurant so the steak/meat on the buffet is just top tier stuff (and also why it's $100 a pop). From friends who have gone there in the past, the lamb and steak are incredibly good (unless it's been sitting too long, but that's true of any buffet of course) and the desserts and seafood are amazing as well. I don't eat seafood, but the lobster stuff and crab legs I've been told are "S tier" by friends lol

The breakfast and the meat stations both had you giving the "wow that's good" expression you see when someone tastes something very special. I'm not going to lie, I was unlikely to ever try this buffet, but you and Mr Ruby might have convinced me to give it a shot if I can get in the next time I visit Vegas. Airline chicken breast is just how it's prepared. Leaving the wing on it. It became popular because it was served on airlines back when traveling was fun and a nice experience vs the hell that it is now.

For someone like Ruby who appreciates a really good buffet you should go. When she is 85 she will remember these buffets that were only $100 clear back in 2023, Otherwise save that $100 and that is what the hospital charged my 90 yr old dad to give him a Tylenol when he had a headache and had to call his MD for an order. I think the $100 is cheap for a memory that will last a lifetime

You are right about the beef Wellington. Think about what you would pay for a single serving at Gordon Ramsey. Plus they would charge extra for sauce as many high end steak places do now. FYI Bellagio buffet which I have not been to for a while used to served beer Wellington and lamb chops at their regulars buffet all the time

Do the buffets use mushrooms between the crust & the filet in the Beef Wellington? I had my first BW at the Voisin in NY (since gone....) and it used what i think is classic - a layer of fois gras . The first time I had it in Colonial Williamsburg at Christiana Campbell's Tavern they used oysters in place of the fois gras . So - how did you like your BW?

Were the lobster tails and crab legs hot? We miss the Sterling buffet, because it had unlimited caviar, too, as well as champagne, and even sake for under $100. You have not eaten lobster tail until you've eaten hot lobster tail with caviar on top! The beef Wellington does look good as does the prime rib. It seems pricey, but if you go to a steakhouse and order an appetizer, salad, beef, or something like lamb chops, and desert you will go over $100 per person. If you think of it, that way, all these gourmet buffets are worthwhile. and this is obviously a lot better than the all you can eat lobster day at the Palms buffet which runs around $70 and has a tremendously long line and waiting time.

I agree, several commenters said they cannot eat $100 worth of food. It's not quantity, its quality of the food which should mirror a good steakhouse that will cost well over $100 per person.

Right such a huge turn off. As soon as I seen it on ice I said oh hell no. I definitely wouldn't go there. I like it warmed or hot with some warm butter so I'd try some of the other buffets first

I was there the day you were filming and I have to say, your critique was spot on. Loved the swan puff (I thought it was a strawberry cream) and the crab was really good. I’d say it was well worth the $100 price tag. We got in as a walk in due to someone cancelling at the last minute. We waited about 30 minutes, but so worth it.

Actually, $100 does not sound bad since in Florida, some of the nicer restaurants will cost you $100/person for a 3-course lunch (salad/entree/dessert w/wine or beer.)

This buffet is aspirational, not about class warfare, though most wealthy consumers wouldn't spend $100 on a buffet either. It would be viewed as unnecessary since there are other fine dining buffet at half the cost.

There are closer casinos to Akron that have celebrity chef restaurants like Council Bluffs, IA and the closer ones in Ohio so you wouldn't have to travel far. That said, $100 for a buffet even with the seafood, sushi, beef wellington, lamb, salmon, is way too much. Don't feel left out, most tourists won't spend that much on a buffet.

Looks really good overall. Lamb and Wellington a bit over done for me. But I would totally eat them. Lobster and crab I can skip. Shrimp, sushi, gnocchi, and ravioli looked good. In my younger days I could crush a buffet. Not so much any more and have to be selective as to not fill up too fast. $100 looks to be justified if you can eat enough. Haha!
