Thanks, Kevin for some truly enjoyable entertainment. I live in Ohio, am 71 years old and mostly bedridden. While watching I turn the lights down and it feels like I'm on the boat. I used to travel (only USA) but I've been from Key West to the Alaskan Arctic. Many plans were made for retirement travel but life got in the way. So, I hope you understand just how much your videos are enjoyed and appreciated. I watch on Amazon and have rewatched them many times. Again, thanks a lot.

I am not sure how everyone else spent this last year of quarantine, but I have taken the opportunity to refine my "Toad In The Hole" recipe. The key to the highest iteration that I have created has been....surprise....dried chives and lemon pepper mixed into the flour! Also, I found that a combination of pancake mix with all purpose flour was a Coronavirus accommodation that paid unexpected dividends in the rise and texture of the pudding element. Cheers to you Kevin, as we were worried about how your River Trust license would allow you to travel during pandemic and how accessible services might be if they required you to remain on the move. Stay safe, stay well and I must admit that I too have profoundly missed the soothing sound of Aslan's diesel.

What a difference to what I saw last weekend on the Leeds Liverpool. Two locks, two coming down, one going up. One boat coming down was single handed. All three worked together and job done in about 20 minutes. The boater coming up said he'd never passed in locks before, but it worked a dream.

I would love to see a little tutorial, maybe with a diagram, of how the locks and valves you crank work. I have a fair amount of mechanical aptitude but have never been shown how the lock system works. One would think with all the narrow oat vlogs out there that would be easy to find.....not so.
