HMong's or Muong are Vietnamese ethnic tribes. Bach Viet (First Millennium BC to first Millennium AD) comprised about 100 non-Chinese tribes living in what is now Southern China to Northern part of North Vietnam.

Hi there Tuan. Video was shot in November 2012. And yes Robbie - August to October are considered best. We had mostly good weather in November too but it can be very cool and misty at that time.

@Robbie Beugelink: Hi Robbie! The best time to travel to Dong Van, Meo Vac (Ha Giang) and also North Vietnam is from late September to end of November. Noce video Mark, your movie seam to be few years ago as I could recognize it from the H'Mong old castle with the families still live there. They have repaired it and move the families out
