Visit PIK in North Jakarta. There are Pantjoran PIK the Chinatown or called little Shanghai, Aloha white sand beach like in Hawai, Batavia cove, where you can enjoy another side of Jakarta, sea views and gentle breezes. You must try to go there

I've stayed in the modern parts of Jakarta every time I've visited there. It is such a dynamic city but my favourite part is where Jakarta Cathedral, Istiqlal Masjid and MONAS is located. While I do prefer neighbouring SE cities of KL, Bangkok and Singapore, I do absolutely adore Jakarta. Obviously used Jakarta as a gateway 2-day stopover to Bali or Lombok

9:15 you guys at SCBD ( Sudirman Business District) that area are build for business headquarters, offices and im not sure if there's residential building there but you know in the weekend people not going to work so that's why its empty.

SCBD is pretty much a business area, so if you come there on sunday the place is empty as people are at home or somewhere else. There's nothing much to see there anyway except for some shopping malls and stuffs which I think is not that interesting if you're staying short term, but is helpful if you're actually staying there long term. Anyway enjoy Indonesia!

Honestly most of indonesian especially the people that lived at java much prefer cashless, we call it (QRIS) So you pay just by showing QR code from payment app or scan QR code that already in place on the shop, much more easy and doesn't need to wait for change too long. Although in the rural area they are still cash in play but yeah, I understand for the westerners it's seem too advanced ( even know I know Nederland also do the same QR code things ) but yeah, as local I want more and more cashless transaction rather than have to bring cash anywhere we go.
