Those stringy egg yolk is called FOY TONG. Made from well beaten egg yolks, then slowly drizzled into a boiling pot of simple syrup. It would be more appetizing if they had added a drop or two of Vanilla in the syrup though, instead of just egg yolk and sugar, IMHO. Enjoy your day, Mario & Olivia! Oh, one more thing, when buying a pineapple, be sure to look for yellow color one, it will be sweeter! 😋

That watermelon truck, the sign is written “20/โล” It’s mean 20 baht per kilogram, not for whole 1 watermelon. That’s why they can’t sell it to you and point to another shop.

I really like your content and it has helped me learn a lot about Ao nang. Kudos to you guys🤟. Me and my wife are going to Ao Nang in the November. Could you share some info on renting a scooter in Ao Nang like 1) Do we need to have an International Driver's license and is it a must. 2) What is the average daily rental fare for a scooter? 3) If Cops catch you do they fine for not having an International Driver's license.
@TravelsonToast Жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! Bike rental is around 200-300 baht per day. Maybe you can make a deal if you rent for longer. If you get stopped and you don't have your license, the fine is 500 baht, it's an official fine, they give you a paper and you pay and go. It's around the same amount if you're not wearing a helmet too.

Both very similar actually, especially if you go to the local markets and areas. Although sticky rice here is VERY overpriced compared to Laos. We eat it like a delicacy here 😂
