My sister used to live in the Valley (Columbia Falls) and their winters are brutal. Expect ice from late September till mid May. She moved to Oregon Coast and just deals with all the traffic and rain. The best thing with Whitefish is their lake and the 4th of July firework show. Seeing your videos of that area brings back a lot of memories. I spent a lot of time near those waterfalls on the river in the park. Also on the lake. Great video! Thanks, Bill in Utah

We truly enjoyed your video Patrick/Patty. Kalispell and surrounding areas are beautiful. We visited two April’s ago even went up the ski lift in whitefish mountain. Awesome. You guys already live in an awesome state but Montana is the bomb. We’ve given it some consideration as well. One thing we have in common is Starbucks and the pups enjoyment of what we in Texas call “puppychino”. Our 4 fur babies get one after every vet visit. Till next time, be safe.

Truman and Bess definitely were not happy with us after we forgot to get them a puppychino! I just totally forgot that they did that. Delaney use to love going to Starbucks.

You are in such a beautiful part of our country. I just love that part of Montana. And I’m so glad that you enjoyed Whitefish. You got some great pictures of Glacier Park as well.

Oh, golly! I have some timestamps I'd like to comment on, are you ready? 00:48 - proof that you film most everything on your iPhone. 2:35 - The Fairgrounds at Kalispell were at SWEET find! 6:45 - Loved the Whitefish shopping, so many cute things that I would've said "I should make that...!" 11:44 - the running water shot - can you loop that for about 2 hrs? 13:06 - did I hear you say, " I don't think so, Tim?" as in "Timmy's in the well...?" LOL. 13:08 - I liked the rearview camera angle (as well as that camper van behind you). 16:05 - that burger shot - man, that looked good. Stop it. 18:27 - "Winters can't be any worse than Indiana, can't they?"... I think you should find out. 21:04 - Glacier Nat'l Park with sun - WHAT A DIFFERENCE! 25:03 - Interesting use of Anderson leveler, have you done that before? Loved the music transitions - well done on all counts, Patrick!! Safe travels and a happy camping Labor Day Weekend to come, my friends. ~💜

They are a fun and budget friendly option!

I kept wishing/hoping you'd measure the water temperatures in those clear, COLD, Montana Lakes. I kept wishing/hoping you'd want to buy & eat some FISH instead of burgers. Kalispell, Whitefish, & Big Fork, are great places to live or visit. When driving you always KNOW when you are in Montana because of all the reflective crosses on the sides of roads & curves where others died. I wish more states would adopt the reflective crosses because they are great reminders as you drive by to pay attention to your driving 100% of the time.
@TravelswithDelaney4 жыл бұрын
We saw the crosses and it is a very nice thing for several reasons.

@@TravelswithDelaney If & when you revisit The Grand Tetons, treat yourself to the Western side which is in Idaho. Idaho STATE rest area along Interstates are PALATIAL & are designed to accommodate overnight parking for RV's. HOT water & electrical outlets in the restrooms are there for you & others to charge things or to plug in an electric shaver or hairdryer & some rest areas even have dump stations. IDAHO rest areas are spotlessly clean & maintained + they have exercise areas designated for you to take Truman & Bess to. My experiences with Idaho rest areas are B4 COVID 19; rest areas in Idaho are OPEN, here is a website that contains useful information about rest areas & travel in & around IDAHO: isp.idaho.gov/faq/ Here is a link to Idaho REST AREAS: itd.idaho.gov/restareamap/

We landed on your channel because we have a Tundra 5.7 and we've always wanted a Lance. How does your Tundra handle it? We live in Colo. so there's lots of mountains. Stay safe.
@TravelswithDelaney4 жыл бұрын
The Tundra is doing a great job with our Lance. Our Lance can only be loaded to 5700# and with our Tundra being rated for over 9000#, its like the trailer isn't even there. We use to haul a 35' 5th wheel with our first Tundra. Did that for 8 years with no issues which is one of the main reasons we went back to a Tundra.

What is your thoughts on using cruise control while pulling a trailer?
@TravelswithDelaney4 жыл бұрын
I have used it on really flat stretches otherwise I tend not to use it. It seems the vehicle will really jump in rpm's to get back up to speed if it slows down such as going up a grade.

Planning to be there in about 2 weeks. What are the COVID restrictions like ??
@TravelswithDelaney4 жыл бұрын
When we were there in mid July, there was a mask mandate. Most of the campgrounds in the national park are closed and the visitors center was closed as well. Picnic grounds and restrooms in the park were still open.
@besafelovemom78974 жыл бұрын
Travels with Delaney I live in Montana- we have mandatory mask restrictions in any county with more than 4cases. We are having approximately 130 cases a day. Please mask up if you come- most of the major tourist destinations are in counties with more cases.

Hi Patrick, I have been watching your KZbin videos. Thank you for sharing. For your inspiration, I have ordered a 2075 that may come in 5-6 months (your slide problem caused me to get one with no slide). I like Kalispell, Montana area where my daughter used to live there a few years ago. My question is what WD hitch you use to tow your 1985? Would you get the same hitch if you were in my stage in buying a TT?
@TravelswithDelaney3 жыл бұрын
Congratulations on your new trailer!! Princess Craft installed the EZ-Lift R3 Recurve and it has worked well for us. I would however love to try the Anderson Weight Distribution hitch. I have heard good things about it and it uses chains instead of bars.
