My husband used to wear my tights in the winter when he was on the tools and we went away to the Christmas markets this year and I packed a couple of pairs of leggings for us to wear under our jeans if it got really cold ❤ ❤ If you take pills out of the boxes the date should also be stamped on the foil packs.

Dan/Mazzy, those blue tights were made by Aristoc in Langley Mill Notts. My Dad worked there as a Trimmer in the sixties. They would put the tights onto wire frames and steam them to make the hold right shape. It was skilled work and well paid in its day. You never know Dad may have trimmed those himself. The hosiery industry has almost completely died out in the uk due to cheap imports.

Check dates on the covid tests, I had some out of date. I would have kept the lem sips 😂 I remember throw a way dish cloths that bubbled! They were quite strong when new and not expensive, my mum bought them. Where’s your suspender belt Dan 😂😂 Some fishermen where tights under trousers in the winter 😂

The tights feature brought back some memories. I seem to remember that a size 9 may have fitted a shoe size 4. I recall wearing the The Ariston make.i preferred the tights which were fully sheer not changing colour at the top but they were not as hardwearing. They looked good on you Dan. Yes Rinso was from the fifties. Used in a washer with a paddle powered in the bottom of it. I remember my Grandmother using that. I was bon in 1950.

That was Brilliant 😂😂😂 years ago the men that worked outside in winter used to wear there ladies tight for heat. Two of my brothers are ground workers and they wore there pyjama bottoms underneath there work trousers in winter. Can't wait for tomorrows 😂. Take care ❤
