哈哈 21:47 usually food on the train is much more expensive than the food in restaurant on the street in China, people usually take some bread and instant noodles with them on a long journey and do not eat freshly fried food on the train. It’s expensive for Chinese as well.😊

Do not compare with India. China is totally different from India whether it is a system of government , or other way. Biggest problem.of India is democracy, but china is opposite, Xijiping may rule up to he want, but Narendra modi cannot do this, because in democracy government can change every five years.

I just realised how expensive food in Canada and the United States cost. ¥76 or $10.50 is considered very expensive for two chinese dishes and rice in China (as it normally only costs around ¥30-40). However you can barely get 1 dish for $10 in Canada or the US. And the fact that this is cooked fresh on A LITERAL TRAIN.

Tibet is not poor. Although the per capita income is at the bottom of China, it is still as high as more than 8,000 US dollars, four times that of India. The key is that the entire population of Tibet is only over 3 million. If Indians don’t believe it, they can check it out. China as a whole is far more expensive than neighboring countries and Southeast Asia. Much richer.
@jingzhi28987 ай бұрын
Tibet is not at the bottom, its income is probably above the middle (not per capita GDP) because there are central budget subsidies, so prices are also high.
When did you visit Tibet? Can we Indians visit Tibet this October? Aur kitna cost hai one person ka from I from India to Tibet?

I will be on this train in August. I was very much hesitant about booking my trip to Tibet, especially taking my 78 years old mom with me. I am so worried about getting the altitude sickness, especially my mom, but she insisted. She really wanted to go and see Tibet. Did you experience any altitude sickness while you were in Tibet though? I already bought supplements recommended by my tour guide, she told me to take those like 5 days before boarding the train, she said it would help. But I saw people buy cans of oxygen and bring them to Tibet. Do you have any idea where to get those? We will arrive in Xining and go directly to railway station to board the train. I am wondering if they sell those in train station and how much are they a can? I don't think I can find those cans sold in my country since I live in a tropical country
