Glad you went around and took the right turn at the T-Junction. LOL. Very nice to see the people out and about.

John, we've driven 89A between Prescott, through Jerome and Cottonwood to Sedona a number of times. One time we did the drive with our 36' motorhome towing a trailer with our Jeep on it. It doable, but not recommended.

Interesting drive thanks for taking us along.

Jerome was an actual ghost town when I was growing up. They've really made it look nice. I think there were only a couple of artists living there. No nice liveable homes like I see now.

As a teenager in the 60s, Jerome was a totally deserted ghost town. It’s different now, but cool.

You can get all the way to Willams, AZ on FR 318 / Perkinsville Rd from Jerome. Gravel road. Subaru friendly. Cool bridge in Perkinsville which is the end point of the Verde Canyon Railroad tour.

Something about that town reminded me of parts of Austria and Switzerland minus the snow-capped mountains and waterfalls.

When I first drove that road in 1969 it was a real adventure as the old homes hung to the cliffs!

This was interesting, but, I definitely like greener places. The canyons were neat and very hilly. It is cool the way the town is laid out. See you down the road while riding shotgun again. Drive carefully.

Interesting place! Fabulous drone views! Thanks for the trip. Everything goes up or down. Not much area.

Beautiful scenery. The buildings with only a sidewalk between their entrances and the road made me feel uncomfortable, but I appreciate seeing the area.

No death go round? This was very scenic, with lots of little areas that I wanted you to go down and explore! Maybe a Jerome, Arizona video?

Very nice, I seen another video where the towns people are planting scrubs. Because the hole town is sliding.

I went there in about 1972. My memory of it is there was only a cluster of ghost town buildings with one little gift shop or bookstore or something. It is very beautiful.

Thanks John... Jerome in Arizona is a beautiful area to drive. I'm really glad you did this segment. The first time I saw footage of this area was back in May of 2023 from vloggers on the Scooter Cannonball. Gord

Where was Jerome, Az? I saw lots of buildings/houses in the first part of this video, just above the highway and back some. Was Jerome that town you went through at the end of this video? You didn't say and I didn't see a sign saying welcome to Jerome or just Jerome. The scenery was nice, sure a lot of mountains. I did notice in the rock wall a truck with bars in front of the truck. Thank you for a fast trip in the mountains of Arizona. Happy trails to you and God bless.
