There are indeed alot of Chinese in Indonesia. I'm myself is Chinese-Indonesian, unlike most of Chinese Indonesian who are either Buddhist or Christian, me and my family are muslim😁 kinda unusual in Indonesia but yaa lol . Also the reason why that man is shock because interfaith marriage is a controversy in Indonesia, cause our marriages go to a different court, for muslims the marriage would go to the religious court, while non muslim marriage would go to the civil court

At 19:38 the big drums is called "Bedug" and the log thingy with the hole in the middle is called "Kentongan". Back then before the modern era, Indonesian people always use that as an announcement to people such as adzan, or if there is any important information from the village. They would hit it with a wooden bat like a drum so everyone could hear it and come to the place. 🤗👍

the drum (bedug) in the mosque is very common in Indonesia, especially in the island of Java the bedug made from cow skin, and beside the drum there is the "kentongan" (from wood) in the normal situation we use "pentungan" (like stick) to make a sound of bedug and in this video in 21:09 is "ukiran" (made by hand), it's traditional art from Java, you can find "ukiran" like this in chair, table and other home decoration I hope you happy in Indonesia ❤🇮🇩🇰🇿

I got to go to ancient Mosque in Acho (Acre), Palestine: never bothered with Jerusalem, nor Rome. Adored Marie de Fleur Cathedral in Florence, perhaps I shouldn't have. I should have took tour of Notre Dame in Paris, liked Notre Dame in Montreal very much. Also very impressed with The Immaculate Conception in Washington DC. I can only dream of making trip to Indonesia, maybe meet Carl Zhou, or Uncle Roger🙂
