This is my parents first time abroad, and for this moment we decided to take them to our beloved country Pakistan. In today’s video, we will share my parents first impressions of Lahore, in which we visited the most cultural part of the city, Old Lahore - Walled City, Kashmiri Bazaar and Wazir Khan Mosque. Urdu is very much similar to the central Asian languages. Even some of the food and traditions are very much similar to the central Asian countries. The reason why because most of our ancestors came from Central Asia and settled in India some 500 years ago. Even my ancestors hail from Samarkand and Bukhara which is in the present day Uzbekistan and settled in Lucknow which is in the present day India 500 years ago, then they migrated from India to Pakistan in 1947 when India got partitioned. My grandparents looked exactly like your parents.
