I completely agree with offline maps. It was a life saver for me during my europe travel. The same goes for offline public transit maps. Especially for cities like London, Paris, New York , San Francisco where there is good public transit it is an absolute must.

great tips once again:) also, a copy of contact information copy in each bag-purse etc and copy of travel info print out in each bag is a must... even carry on bags can be locked with number lock... in one of my long flights I saw someone meddling with someone else's bag...better to lock with TSA lock:) better safe than sorry...also, before leaving flight, check pouches,seat pockets,etc and take all belongings...no second chance will be given to go in and search for anything left behind...always be alert and careful:) Remember to SMILE:)

Madam,u can take power bank but it should be not more than 10.000 mah.and battery not charged,drained.As kabhi kabar inflight air pressure ke karan lithium ion battery burst (burst,not blast) ho jati hai,and fully charged rahne par aag bhi lag sakti hai,2 -3 incidents hui hai,ki laptop ya power bank pe aag lagi.
