Presenting the 3rd INTERNATIONAL Bus journey of my channel, from Nepal to India. In this video we will see bus journey from Kathmandu (Capital) to Siliguri (West Bengal) of India. This a good way for people of Nepal to visit North Bengal/North East and a cheap option for tourist travelling to Nepal from the Eastern part of India.

The Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus in Siliguri is in a shambles. It's been a long time it is languishing in a wretched condition. Siliguri is considered as the gateway to the north-east. An important bus terminus at such a spot needs to be of international standard. Instead of painting the building in blue-white to appease Mamata Banerjee, they should make a complete overhaul of the terminus keeping in mind the beauty of the surrounding mountains.

Prithivi highway is not only the Highway to exit Kathmandu, there is "B.P Highway" , best highway in Nepal, u could have reached siliguri from ktm through that highway also, next time try that from ktm to janakpur

The bus stand and traffic system of Siliguri city is very poor. The bus terminus has been painted only in blue and white but the condition of the building is not good. There are so many e-rickshaws plying in the city that it becomes very difficult for big vehicles to move and there is no flyover in the city.

Soumit, I remember when i travelled to Raxaul which is in extreme bihar border and went by road transport to the nearest airport which was Simbra which took me to Kathmandu. Now things have improved. Please correct me if i am wrong brother.

Well.., the roads here are all good but our country is mountainous because of which we don't really have the wide enough roads for the big busses you're used to traveling by. We only have Toyota coaster busses here as public transport. Lest, all the routes are scenically beautiful.

@@tshetenwangyal6565 Thank you. I would explore Bhutan sometime. I heard a lot about Bhutan. Its very beautiful and peaceful country, but recently they made some rules regarding VISA. I heard it is mandatory for tourist to stay in some standard hotels and to have one guide and travel only in private CABs. Don’t know but read this is a Facebook group. I always prefer Public transport as you can see in my channel, its safe, convenient cheap and obviously I show to people how is the bus/trains there. Hope to visit Bhutan soon, maybe in Jan-Feb 2023
