Just FYI, the terminal keyboard shortcut is _Control-Backtick_ , not _Control-Tilde_ . I know it doesn't really matter much but I see this often with even experienced developers, and we should be the ones who say it right. _Control-Tilde_ is sort of implying that you also need the _Shift_ key too.

This tutorial was great and absolutely easy to follow. The only thing is that I cant get this site to deploy to netlify and I've been trying for a month. It just refuses to work and that was the part i was most excited to learn.

Was confused for a moment there. I could have sworn the background was different--turns out it's a second video. Quick question for anyone who has extensively used Sanity, how much traffic should I expect a 20GB bandwidth to be able to handle? Been raring to use my NextJS Conf plan since the free upgrade. I love how Sanity is so far the only headless CMS that's usable on mobile. 🤩

oh that's easy could be out of the two issue 1. You trying to fetch a data which is not yet loaded and that's why its giving an error in that case { data.something && div tag its loading...} or put and optional chain

Nice tutorial. Wish you could've explained some parts better and follow a sequence . There was a lot of jumping into the future and then back to the past to import elements and not a lot of explaining why some sanity codes were put. My question: I followed the steps in the sanity studio but I would like to include fetching 'categories' also for my Blog display. How do I include that into the fetch query?

Im having with alot of problems in deployment: 1: deploy from git say that target="_blank" without rel="norefferrer" is a security risk, even though we have added it. 2: by drag and drop my portfolio folder in netlify, it give a page of error 404 not found etc. 3: then I ran npm run build and drag and dropped my .build folder in site update place and its live and working fine now. 4: thanks kapehe and traversy.

Good Training. Is it possible to connect Sanity with Flutter, enabling mobile devices to access and update data in Sanity. Looks there's no client for flutter. Can we add custom REST API for such interactions.

Very helpful tutorial. Though I have a question why bullet points don't show on my SinglePost page like @ 1:49:19 even though I have the bullets on Sanity>Post>Body. Other modifiers such as H1-H4 and Quote does not work as well. Bold and Italicize work though so not sure what's going on.

This is a great tutorial and was able to get an app running and deployed to vercel in no time without issues! IT seems the free version is extremely limited to users and you can only add other admin, so using this for freestyle blog development wont work unless you pay.. might have to code my own CMS..... cant afford 99/mo for just the first tier ... maybe im wrong?

After completing the project it's shown "An error occurred while attempting to reach the Sanity API. Our diagnostics cannot quite determine why this happened. If it was a network glitch you could try hitting the Retry button below. If you are working as a developer on this project, you could also have a look at the browser's Dev console and see if any issues are listed there."

you just push your changes to GitHub and netlify will redeploy with the changes

Beginner here, at the start, when you open up VSCode. How are you able to have all the files like; app.css/app.js/index.css, etc. I don't know what generates that. Is it a framework that generates those files? Thank you.

The presenter is charmingly beautiful, however, I feel as though sanity.io could have been explained better at the start of the video, since this is a beginner tutorial a high-level overview would have been helpful in understanding how the platform integrates with the frontend and which advantages it could potentially have over using other backends.
