At 08:35 - I meant to point out that you want pack size because you want packs to convert for map bosses and you want the packs to be bigger for more opportunity for maps and chances at maps to convert to the maps we are hunting - Thanks Exodyr for pointing this out sorry for misspeaking!

does ritual not actually trigger in the shaper maps? also why pick the elder bonuses on the way to remnants of the past and not shaper?

@@battle0001 I was just coming to post this. I don't think when the bosses are spawned in the ritual, that they follow the scarab or atlas rules. I am seeing zero maps drop from bosses that are spawned in the ritual while they drop maps like crazy outside the ritual.

10:10 good point in mentioning these other strategies. Altars sound good with pandemonium if you just want to run your Jungle Valley, Defiled Catheral, what have you. I personally liked the guarantee added bosses with Domination of Terrors for shrine bosses, that's 1x terror, 1x regular domination, 1x singularity, 1x duplication (then adding more shrines in map device). Less guardian map drops without the conversion scarab, but idk what to really think about that scarab. The wording to me sounds like it's definitely not adding more map drop chance, (unlike cartography of singularity which definitely adds a unique map drop to every boss). It sounds to me like just increasing the chance they convert to a guardian map. It sounds fine if you're ok with bulk trading guardian maps or if you want a big stockpile to self sustain your destructive play invitation farming. BUT converting a 3c unique map into a 9c guardian map is little incentive if i'm really, really just focused on trying to pick up t17 maps. From what i've come to learn about drop weights in relation to scrab, if increasing the drop weight of lets say ambush scarabs subsequently diminishes the relative frequency of dropping divination scarabs, then converting maps to guardian maps sounds like its diminishing t17 conversion.

Interesting take, but I was under the assumption that the maps roll to see if they are T17 first, and if the answer is yes, then they will be T17, and therefore cant roll to be a guardian map since thats a T16. But even if the T17 roll happened last, there is no rule that states a guardian map cant convert to a T17 map. So the conversion scarab should have no negative impact on T17 drop rates. Its mostly about the opportunity cost of losing out on shrine bosses from terror, which increase your T17 drops, which conversion doesn't since conversion isnt directly increasing the amount of maps you get in total. Idk which is better, but I would just run a set of 100 in both ways and see how many extra T17s drop with Terror vs how many T16 guardians drop with conversion to determine which is better, and then just run the one that favors the market rates.

You’ll also get a butt load of synthesis maps. They’re 8c each. But if you actually run them maven witnessed you’ll get another invitation with the same drops and they drop Cortex maps around 50% of the time, which go for around 50c, not to mention the synthesized ring that’s usually garbage but can be worth a few divines.

I've been farming T17s in 8mod toxic sewers with B2B with 2 cartos, 1 ascending and 1 mysterios. Minimal investing and you still get A LOT of T17s per map, you also blast maps so fast that corpses, allflames and haunted mods give nice profit too.

A lot of T17s per map is BS. It's just 1.6% conversion chance per map with 4 watchstones, even if you drop say 10 t16s per map you won't be seeing more than often than ~1 every 6 maps on average.

Actually its 1.6% chance to convert a tier 16 to 17 per watchstone if you have 4 voidstonesequiped. The wording is very specific Tier 16 Maps Dropped in area have a 0.4% chance to become a tier 17 map for EACH SOCKETED VOIDSTONE

i barely get baran, the one i get the most is al-hezin. also idk if this affect or im just lucky, but im running destructive with my quant gear. but i also have alot of dps, enough to do the maps in 1-2 mins cause of the stops. and some maps i miss to geta t-17 but happens to me very often that i get 2-3 t17 per map. idk if quant and rarity is heelping oor is just me, but in 3 sets od maps ive got 19 t17.

I've been doing this strat for a couple days and it's kinda wild for a T16 strat.. BUT half the profit comes from guardian maps which are insanely difficult to sell in bulk and incredibly tedious to sell individually.. I've had to filter out T14/15 guardian maps just to limit the amount of clicks

what is hard to sell about? you go tft. or you sell them normal. put price on x/10 and people will buy them just bought 20 of all shaper guardians in a single trade.

I definitely noticed Lov sided results over the last week of running this as well😅 I did, however see way more maps drops running destructive play with shaper maps. I actually ended up both pandemonium and shrines and they just poop out maps.

I ran similar strat and i'm suspecting maps can only convert once. So if your map converts to conqueror map it can't become a t17, as i got just 1 t17 over like 10 full formed runs and absolute shitton of conqueror and guardian maps. And i've never seen such T17 droughts before. Thing is since it's by definition most optimal to run this on formed and not on normal maps, and you want to self-sustain formed... (You could run this on conqueror maps if you're prepared to harbinger orb them to t16s every time(can't do on corrupted) or mb just buy your map pool and not self sustain. It might give you better returns.), You can't really opt-out of conversion scarab on _this_ strat. So pandemonium or terrors, duplication and conversion are fixed. You have option to run carto, ascendance, singularity or corruption last. I can tell you signularity scarab is no good by any measure, run corruption scarab or carto. You'll be dropping UNID 8-mod corrupted maps which is best thing to farm after t17 if you CAN run ANY map. And you'll be doing shaper guardian 8-mod corrupted unids only. Which is obviously like 2x the iiq vs normal. (since it's BOTH 8-mod AND unid, something not possible before this league at all) Only downside is to sell 8-mod corrupts you kind of have to use tft / regexes etc, they stop being easy bulk-sell. If you can't run unid 8-mods then run carto, it'll give you a huge mapdrop boost that more than make up for signularity and give you way more usable map pool. Main takeaway from this is this is the best way to run guardians/conquerors nowadays but might not be a good way to get t17s if i'm right about conversion once, UNLESS you don't try to self-sustain with conversion and buy your formed map pool every time. Otherway best way would likely be to run you preferred juiced content and just throw in carto scarab last slot.

I don't know why but this strat stopped working for me, a few days ago I was dropping a T17 in average per run, yesterday I ran 25 maps and got 4 T17's LOL what happened hahah

New feature added in 3.24, Go to options -> input and at the bottom you can bind a key to use portal scrolls without opening your inventory.

Pack size matters for more mobs and chance for maps for conversions. I put a pin in the comment section that I misspoke when I meant pandemonium scarab that its important for but the other scarabs

@@LordAnublz you might not have but other people did 😂 I’ve made roughly made 500/600 div over couple weeks doing this casually but now the prices are tanked too low… If you actually go into poe trade select the item you can see it’s price history, not to be a nerd or anything but it’ll show you on there that 12th April they were 14c each and I was bulk selling them for 14c each for a while tbh 🤓

@@Travic_ Out of curiosity, did you ever try out this strat with the thorough exploration to empower your final map bosses with wisps? It wouldnt really apply to all the map bosses you add because its ridiculous to try and keep them all alive until the end, but it should be a decent source of extra quant on a few of them at the end of your map for one node, no?

Timestamp 3:20 Ritual DOES NOT add NATRAL inhabitants to the map. It's a wasted node if that's the only reason for it and based on scarab choice you won't get the benefits you wish to see with it. Shrines works because it makes NATRAL INHABITANTS, shrines are better bar none It also aids in sustain.

You can literally run the maps and see the bosses spawn in the ritual it does the same for the essence scarab

running the ritual doesnt do anything, but they come with an extra pack, same as shrines do!
