@DarrellFarr-f8x2 ай бұрын
All the WRs played great. Travis Hunter is clearly the best player in college football. JHorn's toughness as a WR is underrated. Special shout-outs to Will Sheppard & Lajohntay Wester. Not only did Will Sheppard make tough catches, but on run plays, he absolutely smashed the opposing CBs in front of him. His blocking is huge for the Buffs run-game. Lajohntay Wester stepped up big this game. His pass-catching & route-running were a big part of why the Buffs won. Great job WRs!

I’m a big Coach Prime fan and they didn’t look dominant stopping 4 down multiple times but the they can get better with adjustments on both trenches so they can compete with Georgia caliber type linemen.
@Chitownbrotha302 ай бұрын
Also, Charlie is a dependable player but they are not using him right. He is a North and South runner, he is not going to make the first tackler miss. Put Charlie in a two back set with the other backs let him block and have him run off tackle and pull guards with Charlie. He will punish the defense and make those downs short. Then put Micah and Dylan to hit holes and bounce outside to work those LB's. That is going to stop them from having so many in the box to sack Shedeur. I believe CU can have 200 yards total and at least 2 WR with 100 yards games. If we can do that we are winning games

If thats the case just play Micah Welch power 5 football you don't need a 1 trick pony in the game because then the run game becomes predictable

The Buffs finally have a run-game! Thanks in large part to the Freshman RB Micah Welch. Welch had some really big runs to help open up the offense. Micah had great success, in my opinion, due to the fact that he possesses better bcv (ball carrying vision) than most of the other Buff RBs. Great job, Micah! Isaiah Augustave had a decent game, but had a big fumble. I hope he understands that if he gets a reputation as a RB who fumbles, that will hurt his draft stock tremendously. No more fumbles. Don't know if Dallan Hayden will play against Baylor, but I wish Coach Prime would give RB Brandon Hood some touches. You never know, he might break a long run. Great job RBs!

@BrandonColePhotography2 ай бұрын
They looked great on all fronts. Only the real buffs been here since the beginning in spite of all the hate. Haters gonna keep hating but CU defense is just looking damn good with Nikah, Bentley and BJ Green but let’s not forget one thing. The reason Micah Welch was able to really get those large gains is the bounce to left outside. Jordan Seaton was phenomenal and people didn’t see that. He was really sealijf that left side. Travis Hunter didn’t play last year . Deion put Travis on Horton all night and completely shut him down!!
@DarrellFarr-f8x2 ай бұрын
The Offense played much better this game. OC Pat Shurmur did a good job of calling plays. Sheduer was on point with his passes, and made the right decisions. Shout-out to the OLine for giving the QB time to throw, & for finally giving the Buffs a run-game.

I think people are underestimating this team’s ability to learn from their mistakes. Deion is not an experienced coach but I haven’t seen how this guy can’t learn. Unlike most people on these threads, I’m gonna withhold judgment on anything for at least two or three more games. I figure by then, whatever we’re going to see is probably a good indicator for the second half of the season. The rest of you can hype or hate all you want.
