An honest evaluation of the Freedom 500 broadcast would include the following: Would be nice to occasionally hear the track sounds, you know the squealing rubber and such. The camera angles missed quite a bit of the "action" and stopping the PPV the second the race was over left me feeling I missed some of the best post race interactions. Other than that and as usual, great job!

The first time I met Travis Pastrana was at the San Francisco X-games, he jumped his dirtbike into the San Francisco bay. He got fined by parks and rec's but it was awesome and as he said with every penny. He truly is a humble down to earth dude, always was always will be. Definitely my favorite extreme sports athlete. I had all the original Nitro Circus DVDs. My love for dirtbikes is what gravitated me towards him, but then I liked him for who he is as a person.

Just finished watching the Freedom 500. Hailie Deegan rocked that race for I think over 80+ laps then got robbed. Would have at least finished 3rd or at least the top 5. She did some great clean racing the whole time. IMO, Heavy D should have been black flagged and taken off the track early in the race. I wouldn't want him back unless it's a demolition race only. I don't see any professionals wanting to put themselves at risk on the track in any future races with him on the track. Just my thoughts anyway.

Yep, thought cleetus learned his lesson after the first 2, but nope. Assholes hitting people hard, drivers getting screwed after good clean racing, drunk people yelling all over the mic and broadcast quality that's barely improved from the original 'threw this together in 10 minutes' race. Legitimately disappointing, and the inability for half the people in these comments to not view the PPV after it's ended - like you used to be able to, and like you should be able to now - means there is absolutely 0 reason for anybody to pay it again. If you can't watch it live or near live, why bother, just catch it on youtube later. He needs to have a good long think about what he's doing here, because allowing idiots like heavy d to keep destroying cars, property and hurting people through the race, ramming into the pace car, all this other nonsense is already old as hell and we're 3 races in. The whole 'doing this 20 years from now' won't work out if it continues like this.

@@damstachizz I know Cleetus is working hard to put on a great show, but he can't do it all himself. Heck, he was cleaning up an oil spill on the burn out pad moments ago with Spicy Spencer. All we can do is provide feedback so he can work on making the next PPV better. I'm sure he's learned a ton of things and will take them on for the next show. We have to remind ourselves how far he's come in the past year and roll with the growing pains. He can only learn who's a good fit for the next Freedom Factory races based on their own actions. Heavy D just needs to focus on the Burn Out pad...it's just a better fit for him.

The first F500 was unlike anything I have ever seen. Well worth every penny and then some. I’m sure this one will be super as well. Don’t go too professional in the future, there is lots of boring semi serious racing going on. Keep this in the spirit of being the race that feels like the event we would all join if there was enough room on the track. That’s what‘s so special about it!
