He doesn't fly anymore? I don't blame him at all. He's lucky to be alive. People that have burns on 20% of their body have a diminished survival rate. He survived with burns on 65% of his body. Most burn deaths happen within the first 10 days, with 40% or more of partial or full thickness burns. He definitely beat the odds. Incredible story!!

I've been a fan of Blink since I was 8 years old. I'm now 28. So for 20 years I have watched Travis. And I've never seen him open up like that. He was always such a private person. I'm so glad that he made it through this. It's hard to watch one of your child-hood hero's go through pain.

@@so2dalo82 I imagine that AM died the way many recovering addicts do. When they have been sober for a while, and have a relapse, the dosage of drug they take is far too strong for what their body can tolerate after being clean, and it causes their body to shut down. They'll take a dose that they used to take when they were using every day and it causes a cardiac arrest. I wasn't aware that it was a prescribed medication though. Press reported like it was street drug use.

@@so2dalo82 Travis said in his book that AM went to New York by himself, when he usually travelled with a manager or his girlfriend, and was found dead with ten oxycodone in his throat and various drug paraphernalia around. The police report said there was a cocktail of 7drugs in his blood stream. That sounds like a suicide to me. Am knew what that stuff would do, he used for years. Poor guy.
