Hey fam great videos! Absolutely my fav channel & I share w everyone I know, but u rlly gotta stop making silly Faces on the thumbnail like KZbinrs who exaggerate reactions for clicks. Those dudes are low quality, sub par content creators who rely on shock value & click bait to stay afloat to milk KZbin audience for as much as they can without putting in any kind of effort. You’re the exact opposite and wayyyy above them in every way. They don’t even put effort into post production which can fool people into thinking the vid was good. Yours is top notch editing/post production and overall flawlessly put together. If u make vids using these cheap types of thumbnails ppl gon asume you are making the same overhyped redundant bullshit other KZbinrs make & they gon maybe skip watching your vids & subbing. I’m tired of these KZbinrs milking us for views tryna trick us into giving them views for money so when I see a vid with their types of thumbnails I immediately decide not to watch because they’ve always been a waste of time.

Birds could not be a "canon" album as Travis say (that it's not a follow up to Rodeo) but without a doubt has a unique sound that personally I like and makes It special, I mean he has never realised tracks with the vibes and sound of Birds since then. Yeah the album it's not the best lyrically but the sound is very memorable, tracks like: the end, way back, coordinate, pick up the phone, sdp interlude, goosebumps, beibs in the trap, wonderful, sweet sweet, they just feels unique in Travis discography.

The theme for utopia is complicated but in a good way like the journey of the album…him going to Nigeria to parts of Europe I still don’t understand what was going on but the weirdness of it makes it unique,I remember the first listen was before going to school and I didn’t enjoy or understand it but I listened to it in class from the beginning earphones full blast and damn it was a experience like no other from then I play it every single day…Travis is my favorite artist but when he drops trash I do brand it as trash but utopia gotta be his best album yet totally different from what I expected from him mostly because of the snippets and leaks,he did most of the major production for the album like the movie and most beats on the album he definitely thought it out and went the creative route not what people wanted but what he thought was good for the album he could have dropped songs we expected from etc

Man I went to school with him my last year in high school 2009 at elkins in missouri city. he used to freestyle in our government class. He was also the most likely to become famous at that school. Its kinda surreal how much he blew up. He clearly had next level talent and had a vision and a style which made him stand out. Especially from the area. In that general area the only rappers that people looked up to were rappers like Z-ro, Trae, Etc. That school was in a much better area of Missouri City and he was from a decent family that lived in the suburbs. That was even more of a reason where if he was going to make it he had to think way outside the box. Being a rapper like Z-Ro and Trae would only make him so far at best where Sauce Walka is at now. Aside from all that he wouldn't be able to go to the houston labels to catch a break because they wouldn't have seen the vision. He saw something no one else did to the point he ended up in NY homeless just to catch that break.

the thing that annoys me about the "lyrics" discussion is i can name a ton of cringey lines from every single rapper so why are we judging travis on his cringey lines when they all do it? I loved XXXTentacion but he had the most cringey lines ever but i still loved the way he could rap and the flows he would use. personally, i think all the hate stems from people either just hating on the artist or simply not listening to the discorgraphy period which means they don't even know what they're talking about.. People seriously probably only listened to Aye by Lil Uzi and say he says nothing when wtf did uzi say on that song? lol I could make a million points but oh well

birds is definitely one of my favorites, but i have a hard time rating it against his other albums, or rather, ranking any of his albums against each other as they are all very good. Each comes with its own nature and vibe, and is very distinct from any other select album. I think huncho jack also deserves flowers though, it truly is an underrated trap banger, it’s grimey tone really can get you into a mindset that no other travis album can get you into. I think I could associate each album with a feeling, i would personally say, Rodeo - Reaching the End of a beautiful journey discovering yourself along the way (basically what V said). Birds - No cares, just vibing, literally in every sense. A point in time where you just don’t care and are doing something you love. Huncho Jack - The state of being locked in. Not that the album is travis being locked in, but that it really does depict that feeling of being hunched over and in the zone. Astroworld - Laying field of grass, looking at the clouds and just feeling the sun on your skin; freedom Utopia - Pure energy; if you’ve ever been in a track race you’ll understand what I mean! Or any sport where adrenaline is high. That’s Utopia until the end where it fizzles out and shows what it’s like after that energy with my eyes kind of being a preparation in a way. (and jackboys if you consider it an album, it’s more of a compilation but i digress, just GRIME; gatti is the embodiement of this idk how to describe it, music on a speaker washing dishes with the stank face in full effect😂)

Masterfully done. One thing I gotta ask is why everyone shits on birds in the trap? Even you playing snippets of these songs I haven’t listened to in years brings me back to a certain time, them songs are fire af! And a proper evolution of his sound up to that point. I get that it didn’t have an “epic” story tying all the songs together, but that isn’t absolutely necessary to make a great album experience and he already did that. And to complain about the lyrics as if it’s so much worse than all his other projects I don’t understand that either, he ain’t never been the greatest rapper (and I enjoy his rapping for what it is)
