Travis Tritt is a great musician and songwriter. I think you all would really like T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Fast paced with some screaming guitars.

It was the first single off his debut album. It came out in 1990.... I graduated in 96.... Dustin said "I think I heard it when I was little " now I feel like I should check into an old folks home 😂😂😂😂

Women age like fine wine. We are more like cheese. We get crusty, moldy, and start to stink. Older isn’t always a bad thing. I agree with Ronnie McDowell “Older women, are beautiful lovers Older women, they understand I've been around some, and I have discovered That older women know just how to please a man.”

I've always loved Travis. He has a hell of a playlist. I don't recall if you guys have listened to any Sammy Kershaw yet, but I suggest "Queen Of My Doublewide Trailer" And I really think you would like Lori Morgan "Good As I Was To You". The original video is the best and her voice will blow you away. She has quite a few great songs but "Good As I Was To You" Is one of my favorites by her.

His rendition of Take it easy is so amazing. The fact that the Eagles join him in it, makes it better.

This man is the best!! Can’t beat that voice! ♥️🎶 And his cover of Take It Easy for the Eagles tribute album is amazing. The Eagles actually made the official video with him. He’s the only artist’s cover from that album, I believe, that the Eagles were featured on. Also, I bet Travis would love that moniker - ‘barrel proof’!!! 😂

Dustin and Keith, y’all really would appreciate “Where Corn Don’t Grow” from Live and Kicken concert. Y’all will see how amazing his band is. Most of Country use their bands in the studio, not studio musicians.

Hasn't always been the case, Willie and Waylon had big issues with that and later Steve Earle really fought to use his own band. A lot of today's stuff uses studio musicians and other studio machines and "tricks".

Tritt is just soo good, whether on his own or with someone else - he and Marty Stuart's The Whisky Isn't Workin'" is a good one. Has anyone bribed you for some Billy Currington yet? Start with "People Are Crazy" (please?) or, for a great belly-rubbin' song, "I Must Be Doing Something Right". Ohhhhh, and "Good Directions" is just fun.

So excited. Country Club was Travis’ first single off his debut album “Country Club” in 1990. I heard it and went and bought the cassette. Been a fan since. Travis fought hard because he didn’t look like “Country”. He was going to quite. His good friend, Charlie Daniels talked him into … keep going. And, this is what came of it. Travis gained respect as a songwriter, guitarist, performer and vocalist. To your point Keith, Charlie played on most of Travis’ studio recordings.

I love this song, glad you reacted to it. When it came out, I was a kid who was listening to pop music, new kids on the block and all the pop bands from the late 80s and early 90s. This song and Travis Tritt, introduced me to country music. My parents were always listening to classic rock and country, but I didn't like classic country music as a kid. Around 1990, I started to think it was cool and started to like it. The 90s was when country became more popular and mainstream and Travis Tritt was definitely a part of that. (And of course Garth Brooks, that really sealed the deal for me and converted me to listening to country, just as much as pop and rock music in the 90s).

Have you thought about starting a patreon where members song requests are prioritized, similar to the bourbon bribes, for those of us who aren’t bourbon drinkers/liquor drinkers? Personally, I could pick different types of wines from local vineyards all day to try, but I’m clueless on bourbon & most liquors!😂
@BourbonCountryReacts

Not really. From what we've seen, Patreon tends to be largely about monetization, and, well, that's not really why we do this channel. I'm not ruling it out, but the fear is that'd start to feel like work. And the day this channel feels like work is the day we shut it down. We do it for fun. - Keith

@@BourbonCountryReacts I don’t really know a lot about how it works. Ive recently seen some creators that have started offering a patreon membership but only allow a limited amount of memberships bc they don’t want it to turn into a job. Most of them have taken money get from it and donate it to charities that go along with what their channels are about, which I think is pretty cool
