I didn’t appreciate this dude’s music as much as I should when I was younger. Now that I’m a lot older, I see where I went wrong. Dude is a great entertainer.

I got drug to a CW concert back in '95. I don't remember who else was on the bill, but I left a solid Travis Tritt fan. Saw him a few years later at Universal Amphitheater in El Lay in a benefit concert with Jef Foxworthy and Randy Travis. All three were in top form, but when Tritt came roaring out on an aqua Harley soft tail with a matching fringed and conchoed leather jacket, guitar slung over his back, he flat out stole the show. Great artist, and as someone else noted, doing music his way. Funny, you can sing EVERY song by Travis Tritt, Joe Diffie, Randy, Garth, George, Reba, Patty Loveless, Dolly....but this "new" country, well, it seems pretty slick on the surface, but hasn't produced anything memorable. All pretty formulaic and ultimately, vapid and banal. Here's to real country by real singers, like the gen-yoo-wine Mr. Travis Tritt! One of my favorite singers in any genre.

Awesome! That is how I always pictured Travis arriving for a concert ! Just keeping up his bad boy image! Love his music!!

He is too far under rated, and obviously sing's amazing in concerts, Come to Coeur d'Alene casino in Idaho again, I think you were there before but I did not get the chance to see it... We are full of country boys here it will sell out.
@grimes3786 жыл бұрын
The GOAT! I've always thought Travis was very under rated. While George and Garth got all the shine, Travis was just doin shit better, and his way! Wasn't part of the Good Ole Boy network,that's a fact. The true test of a performer is, how the sound live. I dare u to find a bad live performance by this man. CANT, cause they don't exist.

He is coming to play about 20 miles from home can't wait to get tickets and go have always like him and his music always looks like he has a good time doing his shows.

Jason Grimes love seeing others that truly get it. You nailed it. Look at Garth and his fame n shit and he's not even in Tritts league. Not to mention Trav can play the guitar damn good
@DTCN19746 жыл бұрын
Yeah Buddy! George is awesome. Never ever liked Garth Brooks or that alter ego thing he tried to pull. lol Travis Tritt in my opinion is way under-rated and totally better than Garth Brooks on Garth's best day. lol Travis is totally cool in my book!
@chrismckinney51105 жыл бұрын
@@Derekalwaysdelivers207 Garth ain't in Travis league yet Garth's the top selling artist of all time, Travis is damn good no question there, I just bought Travis's Greatest Hits CD it's damn good

a full grown man That's plain to see But nowhere near as full grown As I'd like to be But I'll find a bar And I'll have a few Until I'm ten feet tall and bulletproof Now, I'd hit the dance floor Each time I'd have the chance That is if these two left feet Knew how to dance 'Bout the only time I'm kicking up my shoes Is when I'm ten feet tall and bulletproof Well, I start to feel like Superman Then I pick a fight Only to find that my opponent's Holding kryptonite You'd think I'd learn my lesson But, I'm still paying dues Each time I drink and start to think I'm ten feet tall and bulletproof My woman left me She called me a clown Well, that's the general consensus In this town But I had it coming Lord, to tell the truth For acting ten feet tall and bulletproof Well, I start to feel like Superman Then I pick a fight Only to find that my opponent's Holding kryptonite You'd think I'd learn my lesson But, I'm still paying dues Each time I drink and start to think I'm ten feet tall and bulletproof Source: Musixmatch

OMG... Do I remember these days. I was in my thirties, 6 foot tall and hard as a brick bat. The damn good old days when women were women and would cook. Plus it was a time when American Pride was something to be proud of and you would be in one hell of a fight if you said otherwise. And lastly, men had balls, pride of being a man, and would work and drink you under the table. Damn I miss those days brother.
