Most ppl I kno are just as comfortable with 90s Grunge as with modern Metal or Rap from any era- the 80s to current. I think it's a great thing that has increased cultural awareness and made Millenials the least racist generation yet.

I grew up in the 80s listing to suger hill gang then Run DMC then Public Enemy then KRS1 MC Shan NWA and then anything with energy. There was a lull for a bit till crazy eminem hit and revived this type of music and now mixing different MCs with alternative rick artists and I fell in love with this funky ass new shit. I love how real it is and the diversity is bringing people together again like Run DMC and the Beastie Boys did back in the day. Were once again understanding our common ground and not our differences. I love music for that reason. Focus on what we have in common NOT our differences.
