Dude he’s one with the drums, and they both love each other so much. I’m not into blink very much, but Travis is such an passionate and good drummer. It’s like he was born with a drumset. Even if you don’t like drums it must be at least inspiring how much someone found his place on earth so precise. That’s a life really really not wasted! I’m a bit jealous…

I respect him for his influence. But every time I try and find a reason why people think he's so good, I just don't understand. He's not that technical. Maybe it's because I don't like blink 182 and listen to TONS of jazz. He's skinny and has tattoos and plays real hard, but there's not alot there

A high hi-hat, records much much better. You have much less hi-hat bleed in the snare microphone, that's one of the reasons why. All the pro studio drummers will have their hi-hats high up like this.
