The way I see it every successful company that exists the owner/owners has had to deal with people saying they’re crazy it’s never going to work or happen that they should just give up. Perfect example Netflix blockbuster laughed in their face told them their idea was stupid it’d never work and look at Netflix today. Same with Uber and Doordash. Let the people with small minds and small dreams hate just focus on the end goal because when you’re sitting back making a 7-9 figure salary they’ll still be in that lonely miserable place or they’ll be running back to you asking for help or guidance.

Hey Travis, I'm a lifetime inventor with roughly 30 products in the pipeline for development. After reading Stephen Key's book on licensing product ideas, I decided I would go the "develop and license" route. Then I read Ryan Moran's book (12 Months to $1M) which leans heavily on FBA. Now I'm considering that route, at least for some of my products. Do you have any thoughts on this? Licensing products/inventions vs FBA? Ryan posits that you can launch 4 original (not private labeled) products on Amazon within a year. I'm a hard worker, no family, no pets and an experienced entrepreneur accustomed to working 12-16 hour days, but this seems a bit unrealistic. What say you? Thanks for the great videos and good luck with the cacao launch! I think it's gunna be a huge winner! Aloha!

Travis, I got one question: I have tried Ebay private seller account, Amazon individual seller account and Facebook Marketplace. Of all the 3, I was only able to operate on Ebay and Facebook since Amazon didn't approve my account due to credit card related issues. I have recently started selling online so I started with private accounts and not the commercial ones yet. I made all of the sales on FB marketplace (Sold so far 30 items in last 5 weeks). Whats the point of Ebay if it cannot give views or visibility for my products to its customers but on FB Market place I could see so many people viewing my products, sending me the inquires and eventually buying it. My question is : Is it worth operating on all the 3 platforms (i.e. 1) FB marketplace 2) Ebay commercial seller account with ebay store and ebay ads 3) Amazon commercial seller account with PPC ads) OR Amazon/Amazon FBA should be the only place where one should put all their efforts in? PS: Sorry for the grammatical errors. English is not my first language. Thanks

@@sherrinrosette7901 FB marketplace is great for personalized ads which is mostly visible to people in your vicinity ( about 100km radius here in my town). But the good thing is that the ad is actually visible to lot of people in that area and you can even see the view count. Those views generally convert to sales if you are offering something value to others.

Not Travis but form my experience thing have changed so much over the past 5 years that i see it like this: 1. Ebay is the worst place if you want to 'establish' a new business unless you are offering something VERY unique and appealing which rules out anything from china, anything gimicky and anything with a quick 'slap your label' on it. You are up against stores who have been around for a very long time and over saturated products is ebay in a nut shell. 2.Amazon is still great and will always present opportunities if you think 'outside' the box, what i mean by this is you don't necessarily need to offer a unique and special product but what you need is to offer something that isn't competitive and the normal go to for new sellers. Do a lot of research and search for random useful things on Amazon and you will eventually find some things that aren't readily as available. If you produce your own product (that isn't already saturated) then you should focus everything on making this your golden egg (assuming it has sale factor) as you have potential to slip through the cracks where others fail. 3. FB marketplace is great, this is a fantastic system that allows you to 'trend' locally if what you are offering is desirable. when i mean local i mean even county, state etc as if you are smart about what you are offering and how you are appearing it is essentially cheap marketing and you can push potential customers to where you want them online. One thing that really people really underestimate is that MARKETING online is almost essential, so what you need to weigh up is what product you are offering and the potential profit margins given if you really want to have the best footing you have to market. This is where a lot of people fail simply because they don't have the money readily available. Money makes money, even more so today than 10 years ago i'm afraid.
@wrightvcx22494 жыл бұрын
@@UCNERD Thanks for the detailed insight. I have long way to go before I become a full time amazon seller. On ebay so far I had the worst experience. Without ads and/or ebay store+ratings+ebay badges, I don't think a seller stands any chance to make decent sales on ebay.
