Even though I'm not into Jewelry, Trax makes it interesting for some reason. I guess it is because making Jewelry encompasses so many spaces, geology etc... I would also recommend making sure the diamond grading is only from GIA they seem to have the strictest grading on the diamond market I seen some terrible VS1 diamonds b4

3:35 incorrect you don’t ask for their loop. You come prepared with your own loop and have spend a little bit of time learning how to loop a diamond with your your friends and family diamonds. Plenty of people come into my store shopping for jewelry and ask for a loop. I always oblige. Not a big request and if you're not trying to hide anything then it wont be an issue. Its actually a good tactic to ask for a loop. If they tell you no or discourage it that should be red flag...

This video is very usefull, since everybody talks about the 4C's, but none really had shown a diamond as you did. I don't know if you work also with "lab-grown diamonds". Could you put that in a loupe too, to the viewers make a measure of how nature does it's thing, and how the man does. Since your purpose seems to be, as you said, to "educate" the consumers. I like si or vs and the reason being I like to see a little flaw helps with the knowledge of knowing there real. Everyone on the vvs and flawless knowing damn well there super expensive I'm not royalty but have a few jewelry pieces. With all this lab made I like to see my natural inclusions helps with authenticity. If you have a bright fire color and it's slight inclusion with a good color is just as good I'm my opinion cause that's half the equation is clarity and color that's for info videos are always knowledgeable if you dont have it

Lab made are not always D flawless, you will find d to k color and clarity ranges i1 to f. That "fire" you are looking for, get a high quality cut diamond like excellent. A si1,g color, excellent cut will have more "fire" then a vs2, g color, poor cut. We can't tell the difference from natural to lab made with a jewelers loupe. You would need a special machine to differentiate between the two. GIA certified diamonds will always be the safest bet but paying a little premium for it.

I bought a VS1 SI1 3ct diamond bezel for my Rolex gold yachtmaster, they are a very bright white, i was pleasently suprized when i got it, the 18k yellow gold matches my watch perfect too. Do you know much about WatchStyler Diamond Bezels? Was it a good buy? I gotta get one of those 45x loops.

I remember 20 years ago the cost of doing the GIA Diamond grading course was going to cost me 7.000 British Pounds.The course could be done over 18 month's which also had a compolsory semi precious stone grading ,so two courses.That is still a rip me off price.
