This is the first video about what to look for and what diamond lingo means...with pictures to show what it is you are looking at or looking for. And I've seen loads of them. They left me more confused than I was to being with. Thanks a whole bunch, Mister!

At 1:42 VS1/2 stands for 'Very Slightly Included' not 'Slightly Included' - that's SI1/2

Why do you recommend always prioritizing clarity when buying a diamond? While I understand that clarity is an important factor to consider, it's not the only factor, and I think it's misleading to suggest that people should always choose the highest clarity grade possible. There are many other factors that contribute to the overall quality and value of a diamond, such as cut, color, and carat weight, and I think it's important to consider all of these factors when choosing a diamond. Additionally, I think it's important to recognize that diamonds with lower clarity grades can still be beautiful and valuable and that there is a wide range of clarity grades that can be suitable for different people and different situations. To suggest that people should always prioritize clarity over all other factors ignores the complexity and diversity of diamonds and seems oversimplistic. So, I would like to know more about the reasoning behind this recommendation.

Seems like hearts and arrows show much sparkle but I can get only SI1 for my budget. Is it worth it?

At 4:00 sorry but comparing an SI1 without any inclusion in the pavilion plane to an VS2 with a very clear inclusion on the centre is comparing apples to oranges. For a real test you need ones that have inclusions in the same location.

In general, what is the best bang for your buck clarity and color for a 1.5 Carat Diamond? I’m thinking IS1 and With I color may be best bang for your buck, but wonder if I should do VS2 and H for a 1.5 carat stone.
