Thank you, You helped me repair my revo! Saved me so much time, money, and driving to the repair shop (which what I was going to do) ... I'm glad I did it myself but couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks again!

It is because of u and this video I was able to fix my merv roller today in like 10min found a used one in great shape but they sold because the driveshaft was done well 100$ on the merv $30 for the steel internals and maybe an hr throwing this and swapping out to rpm control arms slapped in a battery and it runs like a top!!👍🏼 I actually just snagged a maxx roller since I seen u had videos on it i felt comfortable enough to tinker with it too. Kinda crazy the deals for used things I guess I’m glad people don’t like to fix there own stuff or take the little effort to learn on here but again Thank You sir 👍🏼🙏

I live in an area that has more sand andcany small stones are round. I noticed while in Colorado, the stones are quartz and sharp. These would jam up a drive shaft and cut into the plastic quickly.Geography can dictate wear and tear charteristics on components.

You need something with more ground clearance it sounds like. Mini MAXX sits low

What would happen if you left the bottom plate off?

I bet the axles would last longer, there are a few screws you would still need to secure the transmission. Might be worth trying

Put some steel bearings on your steering bell crank & servo saver it’ll make it so much more smooth.

Definitely will, just haven’t gotten around to it. Should have come stock with steel not plastic.

@Red BANDIT Racing I got a question, do you know the part number for the screw that goes into the rear bulk head in the two middle holes, top holes are part number #3236 middle is ?? these hold the rear cambers, bottom holes are part numbers #7021 please let me know, as I need to buy cheers.
@redbanditracing8 ай бұрын
Sorry for the late response, I went out and double checked because that diagram for those screws can be misleading. They are #3236, any longer and it will puncture the rear bulkhead into the ring gear of the differential.

@@redbanditracingThanks for the quick reply way out of my budget, I guess I will have to stick with my manual mips drivers, I wanted to buy mips bits 2.5m and 3m to undo long hex's, but £100+ way too much, do you know of any cheap alternatives that will work, and last long.

Great video. I see you own a lot of traxxas rigs. Many folks complain about this Merv being hard to work on. What is your opinion on the maintenance? It seems to me like once you work on it a few times you would learn the ins and outs “tricks” on how to take apart and put back together which would improve efficiency. Thoughts?

After the second time working on this RC, it’s not hard. Just keep your screws organized because there are a few different sizes. I actually enjoy working on it.
